Depends on what you're looking for
I hope this review will help...First of all, this is not your usual "protein shake" - it' more of a natural meal replacement, so do not buy if you're looking for straight protein. This is best consumed as a post-exercise or mid-morning snack. Each packet is around 200 calories (between 150 and 200) and it is well balanced. It's around 15g of protein a sachet, while you get 20-25 from protein shakes. The taste - difficult one. On the positive side, it does not taste fake or "plastic", it just tastes of what's in it, so mostly nuts and seeds. I find it ok and prefer it to the usual sickening sweet powdery taste of your "normal" proteins. On the downside, it's not a treat, it's very earthy and gritty - I wouldn't call it a shake. All the flavors taste kind of the same, it's the color that changes. It's a healthy beverage not really a treat. But it's not bad - different and nutty. And that's really it - it works for me - hence the 4 stars, but I would preferably change the taste of it. They all taste really the same, with Chocolate being kind of horrible.

Taste or texture? Finally a good taste without excess sweetness
I love the but they are different than most of the other ‘meal replacement’s out there.Protein per portion is reasonable at about 15 in powder plus any in your milk. Carbs are good at about 5g, plus your ‘milk’, but fibre is also good at over 7g. So pretty good.Taste for me is really excellent- the best I have tried (I have tried a lot and most are disgusting and sickeningly sweet). These taste of the things they are named after and have only a hint of sweetness- just right for me. Really the taste is lovely. (Even the coffee and walnut is just gorgeous like drinking coffee and walnut cake without the sweetness or side effect.)If there is an issue it is texture. I would compare it to the orange juice question- if you want a fully homogeneous drink with no bits or texture then this may not be the one for you.The directions are to use a blender. I have tried them using just a shaker and with a blender. The drink prepared with just a shaker tasted lovely but was thin and slightly ‘gritty’ in texture because the mixture did not evenly disperse. The vendor advises this is because they are real food items and so do not dissolve.I dug out and dusted my blender. Prepared with a blender the resulting drink is thicker and a quite pleasant texture but, the level of ‘smoothness’ depends on the flavour type- the ones containing nuts were coarser than the fruit flavours. These drinks contain psyllium husks (which I always add myself to other ‘shakes’) and ground seeds, and in part this may result in the slight grainy texture my drinks had.Personally I loved these and will order again, but recommend using a blender. If left standing once prepared they can be redispersed easily just by stirring in a cup.Overall, I quite like the texture and LOVE the taste

Worst tasting shakes ever
i have tried almost every dairy free shake on the market so was prepared for the taste to be less than brilliant! However i was not prepared for this, my first trial shake was Coffee & Walnut which tasted like the contents of a hamster cage albeit nicely ground with a bitter aftertaste. On the plus side it is all natural ingredients but mud and sawdust are also natural! I tried adding a good dollop of Walden Farms zero carb Caramel sauce to try and disguise the flavour but even that did not help and i had to throw it away. I tried the Blackberry with added fresh raspberries and sweetener but this was a waste of raspberries and managed about half a shake before i gave up. I'm so pleased i bought the trial pack before committing to a full tub. The concept is admirable, all natural ingredients, full information and nicely presented and branded, however they need to get some people on their tasting panel who are not sadists. I'm sticking to my Exante Vegan shakes which although higher carb are actually pleasant to drink

Glad I tried the trial box
I really appreciated the opportunity to purchase a trial box rather than a full amount. I was looking for a protein shake that wasn't based on whey, casein or soy, and I try to eat whole foods normally so this product appealed to me. The texture was indeed a bit gritty, you'll notice that the blender they use is a nutribullet type, not just any old handheld blender. I was definitely not a fan of the chocolate flavour - the chocolate wasn't detectable, there was no sweetness and the shade of brown sent warning signals to my brain because it really looked like something you'd flush in a hurry rather than drink. Nevertheless, the vanilla and the hemp were alright - I may even get them again. The website recommends leaving the shake to thicken for a little while, especially if you don't have a high-powered blender, and I think this is an important instruction. The most pleasant result was when I attempted to an overnight oats-type mixture (oats, Purition, almond milk) which was rescued from being an overly solid mass through blending into a smoothie with banana, strawberries and water. In conclusion, this is not a protein shake for people in a hurry. If you are looking for a product that can be used as a base in other more involved recipes, maybe try out the vanilla or plain hemp versions.

Buyer Beware!
I thought I'd try this and lose some lock down weight. I had a strawberry sachet and personally I thought it tasted okay. Unfortunately within a few hours I was displaying all the unpleasant symptoms of an IBS flare up/food intolerance response. It has been really unpleasant, including much nausea and vomiting. I still feel awful. So if you are someone with a sensitive digestive tract be careful with this stuff. Don't say I haven't warned you!
