Thermoskin Healthcare Arm Sling with Comfort Pad — One Size Fits Most

My mother recently sprained her wrist quite badly, a triangular bandage wasn't going to cut it while she recovers so I got one of these for her. She's small, 5ft2", and it adjusts to fit her very well, the elbow, arm, wrist and hand are completely supported at the right angle. The sling material is durable, comfortable, and it looks quite smart. Once it was adjusted to fit she has had no real problems removing it and putting it on. As far as slings go, it's a good one, it's well stitched and a handy thing to have around the house just in case - I certainly wish we'd had one at the time of the accident!.There's really only one criticism I'd make and that's about the strap. While it's strong and easy to adjust, it's also a bit rough to put around your neck - you really need to be wearing a jumper or wrapping something soft around the point of contact. It's like carrying a holdall the weight of your arm right on your neck/shoulder, it's the same sort of nylon strapping used for straps and handles on bags like that. It's not a huge deal and for the most part it's probably not going to be a problem for the majority of people, but a movable soft shoulder pad would solve it and in retrospect I should have chosen one like that, it just never occurred to me.So overall it's a good product, it's well made and priced. If it had a more comfortable strap it'd be five stars, but it's still a solid four as it does the job nicely.

My arm fell off one day. I looked down and there it was, plumb on the ground. Just fell clean off. No idea what happened.So I bought one of these arm sling babies and stuck it in. It's perfect! Keeps my arm looking natural against my body. People can barely even tell it fell off anymore. Once my new arm grows in, I'll hang my old one on the coat rack with this sling in case I need it again.

Comfortable, lightweight and washable. This held the arm in the right position whilst the break healed. It was easy to adjust and fasten with velcro and stayed in place. The thumb hook was good to keep the arm in the right place and to stop you being tempted to use your hand.

I have continues problem with my shoulder and one of the ways to relieve it is by putting in a sling.I found the one the hospital gave me made me itch and wasn't comfortable. This one is comfortable, easy to adjust and did the job I needed it to do.

Not long enough for my long arm....didnt arrive had to chase up.

This was bought for my son's girlfriend's mother who had a recent operation on her hand. It fits perfectly and gives her the support she needs. Good product, good price and quick delivery.

I found this support helpful but it gets very warm because of the fabric . The design is very good and because it is a very wide sling it is very comfortable and my arm felt very secure and well supported.

i bought this for my elderly neighbour who has severe arthritus and has just broken her arm she cant believe how easy it is to put on compared to the n h s sling and she says its so comfortable and light very very pleased with the product and service
