Bob Books - Complex Words Box Set Phonics, Ages 4 and Up (Stage 3: Developing Readers)

I bought this for my (almost) 5yrs old daughter who has started reading. We do not homeschool but, were looking for education supplements.These are the titles of the 8 books:Ten MenBump!Cat and MouseThe SwimmersSamanthaWilly's WishJumper and the ClownMax and the Tom CatsIt also has a Teaching guide.

Wonderful set for very early readers, but there were two books no. 7 in the box instead one 7 and one 8.. Looks like that happens often. For the price I would expected to happened less often.. but my child enjoys it so much, improved a lot so worth it!

I'm an American with a Japanese life and my 7 year old son was born and raised here in Japan.I've bought a lot of English study materials, and the Bob Book series has been uniformly excellent in every way. 100% recommend.Note that my kid at least wasn't self-directed enough to study by himself, except a few days he sat down to read the Bob Books. Instead, we had a mini "English Class" about an hour a day and worked through this material.

This series of book was recommended to me from one of my kids speech therapists. My daughter loves reading these books they are easy for her to follow, lots of sight words and repetition.

First set of books for my kids. Really helped them learn how to read.

We are very happy with these books as our kid loves them. He picks these up by himself and starts reading and wants to complete each box in one go. He gained lot of confidence reading these books.
