Review: Coffee Tamper Stainless steel? - This an excellent product, unfortunately the one I received had a small defect in the centre of the base, corrosion/cracking or perhaps a tooling fault. The Company were very polite and courteous. I tried to take a photo of the fault but because of the reflective surface the defect was masked by reflection. They asked me to return it and the packaging it came in but they provided no address to do this. I decided because the product was not that expensive I would just keep it as I believe it came from Hong Kong/USA? and waited some time to receive it in the first place. The product is an excellent tamper quite heavy and great for tamping the coffee. Had it not been for the defect in the base I would have given this 5*. Every cup of espresso is now reliable, unlike when I only had use of the plastic disc which hangs down under the coffee machine. The tamper is heavy (weighs about 600 gm), the right size for my dispenser, comfortable to hold and even beautiful to look at.
