Ok and sharp but blades a bit far apart resulting in thick peelings.

Old school is best!
Bought this for my Ma after my da accidentally threw hers out with potato peelings. I had to though as she'd gifted me her old one. Best peeler on the market. If you wish not throw it away accidentally though I'd suggest powder coating it in luminous paint... you'll use it so much and miss it more. I'm a huge fan of JosephJospeh with so many kitchen items but I draw the line here - this is the bland item that you'd save in a kitchen fire once you've 'worked it in'

Cheap but with some drawbacks
This is in the design of the classic peeler, just what we wanted. And dirt cheap, very good value. However, as other reviewers have said, the peeler blades are not as long as the old classic style, and too much is taken off! If you peel a carrot for instance, you don't have that much left afterwards! The blades are nice and sharp and peeling's a doddle, so some good points. Funny it's so difficult to find these nowadays, just a shame it peels so much off. Remains to be seen how long it'll last.
