Illustrated Textbook of Paediatrics

Arrived in good time and in mint condition. Currently on my paeds rotation and I must say this is a good place to start if you're like me and are feeling overwhelmed. Some people suggest that you should be able to get through the book by the end of the rotation but it's a lot of information to get through and commit to memory. Wonderful book otherwise with illustrations and summaries for the visual learners!

Very good and detailed text, especially for anyone who has no clue about paediatrics Fantastic reference This was recommended by my supervisor, a consultant paediatrician, during my specialty rotation and it proved worth its weight in gold

Very comprehensive textbook for med school. Deemed the core syllabus textbook for Oxford paeds rotation. Lacking on pediatric maintenance fluid balance and some of the smaller topics. Very strong on resp and neonatology. Clear writing and diagrams.

This book is a great way to freshen up if you are a return to practice nurse, or you want a concise but clear understanding of the well child and the illness and disorders that can afflict children.

The BEST paediatric book for med students. It has everything you need to know, very very nice use of images and tables. Honestly you won’t regret buying it.

It’s very pretty. Nice pictures and illustrations. But realllllly cursory. Like, basically an outline with a few fun facts thrown in. Not even sure it’s adequate for a medical student Paediatrics reference.
