Great product and worth the price
Great product for relaxed 'slick back' in very thick hair. Lasts a few days - can be touched up with a little water. Pleasant smell. Not rigid like gel - you can actually run your hands through it. Quality product and worth the seemingly expensive price.

You really can't go wrong buying this.
Amazing hair product that gives a brilliant clean, strong hold that lasts all day. It smells brilliant (like a sweet caramel to me)and I've had a few compliments about it. It holds up perfect even in strong wind but does start to loose a little shape after hard labour, although it's still better than anything also I've tried. My only issue, and this is just personal preference, is that it holds your hair with a similar rigidity to hair gel. As such if you keep playing with it it will eventually loose it's shape - no good if you're having a stressful day haha! I also find that it's only really good at creating the classic slick back/pompadour style and looks very sharp. Can't really get a more casual, messy style but maybe someone could advise me in the comments?Nevertheless I'm thoroughly impressed with this product and will certainly buy it again as well as trying out the other products that Uppercut offer.

Solid for a water-based
I am far more familiar with oil based pomades, as i prefer how they work and look. I've only ever used a couple of water-based pomades, so i can't compare this product to much, but i'll leave a bit of feedback non-the-less.I bought this product due to it's high rating. I heard it was the best water-based pomade easily available in the UK. I certainly agree that it's a nice product, and i can see where the hype comes from. It's super thick, goes in to the hair easily and allows you to do almost anything with your hair. Being a water-based pomade, it has its limits. It dries out and causes your hair to become stiff and unnatural, like hair gel. So some styles are easier to achieve than others. Also, true pomades would allow you to re-comb your hair during the day. Since this product dries out, like most water-based products, there is no way of re-combing. You could try wetting your hair a bit, but it'll never be the same as using true grease. The scent in the tin is almost non-existent, but once the product is in your hair, the strong vanilla scent hits hard, and lasts most of the day.The tin design is great. however, i personally would have preferred the product in a classic plastic tub, similar to Suavecito etc. as they always seem more air tight and secure. But this is just personal preference.Overall, this is a nice product. If you are a fan of thick, heavy hold water-base pomades, then this is a must buy. However, if you're looking for something slicker and re-combable, then i suggest using oil-based products.

Uppercut Deluxe Pomade Review: A Timeless Classic
Uppercut Deluxe Pomade is a staple in my grooming routine and has been for 3 years now. This water-based pomade delivers a strong hold and a high-shine finish, making it ideal for creating classic and timeless hairstyles. What I Love:* Strong Hold: The pomade provides a firm hold that keeps my hair in place throughout the day, even in humid conditions.* High Shine: The finish is incredibly glossy, giving my hair a sleek and polished look.* Water-Based Formula: Being water-based, it's easy to wash out with shampoo, making it a convenient option for daily use.* Versatility: The pomade is versatile enough to create a variety of styles, from slicked-back hair to textured looks.Things to Consider:* Consistency: The pomade can be a bit thick when first applied, so it may take some practice to achieve the desired amount. Pea sized is always enough for me.Overall, Uppercut Deluxe Pomade is a fantastic product that delivers on its promises. It's a reliable and versatile option for anyone looking to achieve classic and stylish hairstyles.

Not great value for money
The 30g is tiny and only half filled with the product at best. For the money, it's not worth it at all. Buy at your own risk.

So here is my quick review with both the good and the bad
I've tried and own (collect) many different Pomades both water based and oil based and I was looking for another water based product to try (easier to wash out, less chance of a break out of spots, quicker to apply and style for everyday use) and I ended up going for this item (Uppercut Deluxe Pomade 100g)I'd heard / watched many reviews online and I'll be honest, not all were good) but I still wanted to give it a try.So here is my quick review with both the good and the bad.First off, the design of the product is right up there. I love the decal of the retro boxing scene and it looks cool on the shelf. The scent of the product in the tin is a mix of coconut and vanilla but it's not sweet smelling. It's been described as a dark coconut smell and I'll go along with that as I don't have a better way of explaining the scent however, I found that once it's in the hair for an hour or two it smells more like a toffee and it's rather nice. I like a hair product that keeps it's scent so this totally fine with me.Like most water based products scooping and applying the product into the hair is easy and it washes out with no fuss. When the product is left in the hair (over night)I found that my hair felt soft and nice to the touch. One of the only downsides to this product and often found with water based products is that while in the hair after styling it can get crunchy in the hair like some gels do.But this does not mean this is a bad product and if you can live with that minor gripe then this product will hold your style for the whole day and it also smells nice when you catch a whiff during the day.Highly recommended
