Beard Wash

Being new to growing a beard I had no idea these products existed. Three weeks in and after beginning to itch I looked online and discovered a whole new world. I popped to Boots and picked up a few bits and pieces, then a friend recommended Percy Noblemans. These products have been a real revelation. I was concerned the first time I used the beard wash, put a couple of blobs of shampoo in my palms whist in the shower and ran it through my beard, as I was working it in I was surprised there was no lather, it worked in really well and smelled nice, just a normal pleasant smell, slightly stronger than your usual soap or shower gel. It's best to work into the beard and then leave in for three or four minutes for it to work its magic, then rinse. One towelled dry you can feel immediately the benefits of the wash, your beard feels clean and soft. This is much better than the products I picked up from Boots. One other thing to bear in mind, the guys at Percy Nobleman provide first class customer service. I emailed them asking for some advice and also asking why the beard wash didn't lather up and they replied immediately with some great advice and telling me that the beard wash contains 100% organic ingredients which meant it wouldn't foam, but it wasn't the foam which cleans the beard, so no loss there. My beard routine now consists of Percy Nobleman beard wash, Percy Nobleman beard oil then their beard balm. All really excellent products which compliment each other perfectly. Within a few days of using my beard is 100% softer, better conditioned and for the first time I feel in complete control. Cannot recommend all of their products enough. A+++

TLDR: the best beard wash out there, buy it, you won't regret it. Full review: Absolutely brilliant product!! Having been the proud owner of a full beard for over a year now I decided it was time to start properly maintaining it and looking after it (also my boss was giving me sideways glances every so often, something about looking like captain cave man). I tried various (see: loads of) different shampoos and specialist beard soaps before I listened to the old adage of "you get what you pay for". Simply put, this is far and away the best beard wash I have ever used! After washing my beard it is left feeling soft and conditioned and very easy to comb. Using normal shampoo and even the proper beard soaps it left my mane feeling dry and brittle. Normally my wooden comb gets stuck in the various knots and tangles of my beard but once this wonder wash has been applied it makes Brushing a breeze! Before I have even applied my Percy Nobleman beard oil it is sleek and shiny and very soft to the touch. Simply follow the instructions Percy very helpfully sends out by email to you once you purchase any of his items and in no time at all you will have a soft and easily managed beard!

I have been using the Percy Beard Shampoo for few days and I am very happy with the product. Packaging: The shampoo comes in a plastic pump bottle and contains 100ml. It is the same dimensions as the Percy Beard Oil. It's a very handy size for a wash bag so ideal for travelling. Scent: I picked up mostly on the cedar wood, in the morning it is nice refreshing smell and not overpowering. After rinsing the scent goes away so it should not conflict with any beard oil should you use them which is a plus. Application: I only needed a few drops are and it lathered up very well so the bottle should last for quite some time, this will obviously depend on your beard length. Results: It left my face feeling refreshed and my beard nice and soft so you can't ask for any more than that.

Great product! I only use natural high quality beard wash and I forgot to get beard shampoo and was using normal hair shampoo for a couple of weeks, so inevitably developed beard itch. This wash cleared it up in two washes. I read one review saying it smelt bad, that is quite simply not true, its a natural high quality product and they do not smell like cheap scented products. It was that comment alone that gave me confidence to buy it! So glad i did, it will be a regular of mine now. Only need a small amount. But anyone who appreciates natural & quality products, you will love this!

Before I start, I don't sport a big bushy beard, keeping it at around 6 - 7 weeks growth in length. I have already purchased Percy Nobleman Beard Oil which I am a fan of, but wanted to share my experiences of this product. I bought this shampoo as I was still suffering a bit of itchiness and I was curious to know whether the shampoo combined with the beard oil would solve it for once and for all. I had been using T-Gel up to that point as it foams well and seemed to be doing a reasonable job. A large bottle of T-Gel is about £7 but you'd easily get 60 - 70 washes out of it. At approximately £17, this shampoo is more expensive than any one item my wife would buy in Boots. It's a similar price to 8 Mach 3 razor blades. This in itself wasn't really a problem as the beard oil is more expensive still. However, it became an issue when I realised that, if used daily, the liquid provided in the small bottle was unlikely to last more than 3 weeks. This was going to make the upkeep of my beard significantly more expensive than shaving regularly. Add to that the fact that I noticed no difference between my beard when using this shampoo versus T-Gel, either in terms of any itchiness or how it felt. One of the reasons I grew a beard, aside from being curious about how it would look, was to stop paying the crazy prices demanded by Gillette for their razors. It seemed like such an easy thing to do - just grow the damn hair and trim it every week or so with a beard trimmer. Having had the beard for many months now, I really like it and intend on keeping it, though I will not be buying this shampoo again. I appreciate all the natural ingredients and the care/effort put into making it, but in my opinion keeping a beard in decent shape should not cost significantly more than shaving. Make the bottle half the price or double the size for the same price and I'd reconsider, but for now I'll go back to my T-Gel and keep using the excellent beard oil.

After noticing an alarming amount of beardruff floating from my face one day, I decided I needed to change my beard washing ways. I previously had been washing it either by soap or normal shampoo/conditioner, but now realise they we're not really suitable for a beard and left it very dry and scraggly,, Since changing to this beard wash, the difference has been staggering.. It feels softer, cleaner and more alive, also the annoying beardruff has completely gone., I highly recommend this product. In addition to this I also try to comb beard a bit more and use a beard moisturiser ( some days ) to help with general maintenance.. Although I've heard beard oil is the way to go, so will try that once moisturiser is finished.. Percy nobleman is def a brand I highly recommend!

I've never bought beard wash before, but i've been recommended to not use normal shampoo/conditioner on my beard as it strips away all the healthy oils. So I was in the market for beard wash and wanted to play it safe for my first purchase. Although I found cheaper products, they have stuff in them which strips away the oils in your beard and leave your skin feeling dry. Anyway, I received this in the post yesterday and used it on the same day. My impression are: - Higher priced branded product for small (100ml) bottle. HOWEVER, you shouldn't be using this more than twice a week anyway, so it should last a while. - Applies to the beard easily. After washing out, I could feel an immediate difference in my beard (softer, flatter, smoother). - Natural ingredients which don't dry out your beard. - Scent is cedarwood and lime. Not massively concerned with this, as I use beard oil which overwhelms it. For those who don't, it will probably smell nice by itself. The only reason I knocked a star off of this is because of the price. For less money you can get bigger bottles which use same-ish ingredients. For someone who is unsure where to start, or is buying this as a gift, you won't go wrong buying this. But you are paying a premium for the brand (which is apparently well-known!)

El bote llegó en su caja pero el sello de la caja estaba en una de las “caras” que te permite abrir y sacar el bote sin romper el sello (sospechoso) , se estaba derramando dentro de la caja porque la tapa del bote estaba floja; si quisiera pensar mal, diría que es una versión pirata que han rellenado con cualquier jabón / shampu . Lo he usado, hace bastante espuma , pero olor, diria que neutro. Para lo que es (si es que lo que hay en el bote es lo que he comprado ) , habría comprado cualquier cosa de 7 - 8€ Max

Perfect first step, leaving a exfoliated skin and clean soft beard. Love it. Only negative and the reason for "only" 4 stars is that they seem to have changed the cap so it now falls of way to easy. Same goes for their beard oil bottle. Can end in quite the mess in your luggage if you don't put it in a plastic bag.....

Bei weiten das beste Bart shampoo welches ich kenne! Der Bart wird gereinigt. Der Geruch ist zw ungewöhnlich und angenehm mit Zitrusnoten. Schaumbildung ist eher gering, jedoch deutet das für mich eher für fehlende Chemikalien. Ich würde es für "kuren" nutzen (5mal hintereinander anwenden um den Bart + Haut zum weich werden zu bringen). Gerne wieder (Preis Leistung liegt im Auge des Betrachters
