Fallen Fruits BPH29 Cast Iron Large Basket Bracket, Brown

Very rustic cast metal (Iron given its magnetic) roughly finished, with loads of casting marks. Mid to dark brown on arrival (tho I painted all 8 with smooth green hammerite, which takes well to the surface finish. The mounting holes are countersunk, and took #8 screws ( I used 8x1 1/4), be aware that the screw holes are not very central, fairly random, so align each one individually, and mark, they wont swap round without being squint :)Solid, sturdy, really pleasing once fitted, no fittings are supplied.Be aware that the different models are different sizes!BPH53 is large (34cm)BPH29 is medium (25cm)BPH28 is small (20.5cm) I would consider the others small/average Bought 2 sizes for different uses.

Lovely decorative hangers. Bought originally for hanging lanterns as I’d read reviews about how some have broken for other people, so didn’t want to hang anything too heavy on them. However, found two smaller hanging baskets recently and hung those instead and they are perfect. I’d suggest only hang smaller items as they aren’t that big. They arrived perfectly packaged and swift delivery, zero issue other than you have to use your own screws which to fair isn’t too much of an issue unless you don’t have any. I used black screws and the brackets went up really quickly with no bother since. I love them, they are very pretty.

Little to criticise except that the hanging point is about two inches in from the end so the clearance is less than you think. The hanging point is also fairly shallow so in a wind a pot might blow loose.

This is very good value for money. We installed several of them and it was easy to do. They are sturdy and look better than the standard powder coated brackets. We have an 1830s cottage and they look like they ‘belong’. Aesthetically pleasing too!

I was fed up with my old brackets rusting as the plastic coating failed so looked around for an alternative, and that's when I spotted these brackets. Being cast iron they are solid and attractive items, with plenty of strength for holding heavy hanging baskets. They don't come with any fixings so you do have to source your own, but bear in mind that the two holes in the brackets are only wide enough for a M4 screw. I confidently expect the brackets to last well, and they look far nicer than the regular style.

Well made and sturdy. Blends into surroundings well. Good value for money.

In the image (and those of others selling the same item) these look to be a nice rustic red colour, but the ones I received were mostly black in colour, which was disappointing as the colour they look in the images would have gone great with the baskets I wanted to use them with. The other problem is that they are much smaller than expected. The description here made them look like they were going to be 25 cm long, long enough for my baskets, but they are only 20 cm long. However, having read the description here again I now realise the 25 cm given is actually for a matching cast iron basket which has a diameter of 25 cm. The description area is supposed to be for the item being sold, not for an item that would go with them being sold elsewhere. Others selling the same item however have it listed as being 25 cm long and 19 cm high (such as Crocus UK. and Mr McGregor's) so it was fair of me to assume these were going to be 25 cm long as well. They are nice, don't get me wrong, but they are not as long as I thought they were gong to be and are nothing like the rustic red they look in the images.

I was looking for some sturdy basket hangers to install on the posts of our 6 foot fence. These are the perfect size (able to hold large baskets of flowers without knocking against the fence) and are very sturdy! I loved them so much I plan on buying even more! Great price for such a well made product. Very pleased.
