Good Value Simple Arch
This is a nice, simple looking arch, and it's a good size. I initially bought one, but have since bought another to put over a garden bench and grow a rose arbour. It's wide enough to place over a normal sized garden bench with the feet of the arch either side of the bench. The arch is cheap, and as such it's not the same as a top-price arch, but it seems sturdy. It's lightweight, so I've been careful to push the feet well down into the soil. It's not difficult to do this. The arch that's in a sheltered position seems totally stable, the one that's in a less sheltered position I'll keep an eye on. The segments slot together and have a good length of overlap within the tubing which adds to the strength of the finished structure.Quite a smart looking arch - basic design, but the eye isn't drawn to the arch itself, which I think will look nice when the climbers have grown over it.The arch is very easy to put together. There aren't any spare screws so be careful not to drop any on the lawn. One of the crossbars broke on assembly of the first arch, but I mentioned this to the seller and they have sent a whole pack of replacements - excellent customer service.I think this arch is good value. The jury is out as to whether it will withstand strong winds once it has roses growing over it but it looks promising, and could easily be further stabilised on the uprights if in doubt.

Very pleased with my new archway
I bought this arch to replace one I had on my windy allotment which had rusted and fallen apart. I agree with other reviewers it is a little flimsy (but no less so than the previous one from a well known retailer) and care needs to be taken when fixing it into the ground to ensure it doesn't bend or break however I think it is very good value for money. It was easy to put together (yes- I did need 2 of us to do so), and I liked the black paint finish - hopefully this will be more rustproof than my last one. It is supporting quite a mature honeysuckle and some sweet peas so it is not that flimsy and in fact they help to hold it all together. A tip I have learnt from my fellow allotmenteers is to bang in a stout, preferably metal, stake beside of every leg on the arch (well our site is so windy we do this with everything - sheds, frameworks etc) I then attached cable ties around the archway and the stakes (optional). This improves the stability quite well. So far so good - although we haven't had the windy weather yet!

High quality
Received this item today and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. Easy to assemble and a lot higher quality and sturdy than others I’ve bought previously. I think this will last years to come compared to others! I also made it shorter by not adding the bottom section which is great there’s that possibility

Value for money - does the job.
I bought a couple of these arches a few years ago from a different online retailer and hoped these would be as good as my previous ones and they are pretty much identical. They are lightweight and just a little wobbly but once pushed down into the ground they are a lot sturdier. I bought these Garden Mile Metal Garden Arbor Arch frames to place them over my delicate garden plants and drape some Green House Shade Netting over them to keep the frost off them during winter. I hope this works as I normally stick tall canes in the pots and drape the GH netting over them. This year my garden has changed so I need something a little different. When assembling the two halves of one arch you need to ensure that when you join them together at the top that you have the male/female ends travelling in the right direction or you will have to start again like I did. Also be careful not to overtighten the screws as the metal may distort. For the price i am quite happy and expect them to last for a few years. Would recommend.

It's poop!
Easy to put together however very flimsy and rusted within 3 weeks....but then what do I expect for such a cheap item.

Cheap & Cheerful
We bought 4 of these for our garden we were that impressed with them. Not the highest quality, in terms of heaviest or thickest metal but sturdy enough and very easy to put together. It took my husband, on his own 19 minutes from start to finish to make one arch. There was no need to use an adjustable spanner as the instructions suggests, just a Phillips screwdriver. Be careful of over tightening, the first one my husband did this on he slightly bent the metal but once he released the tension it was fine. The instructions are clear and concise, there was no missing pieces and all parts are made to a high quality that is certainly excellent value for money. At just short of £10 per arch you really can't go wrong!I've taken some pictures for you to see, before, during and after assembly. We've already planted onto these, grape vines, climbing rose, kiwi and a few others! We have also ran outdoor electrical lights right along the 3 we have put across the path in the back garden so they have been "manhandled" quite a bit before I've written the review and we've had no problems. My husband is 6ft 3in and over 16st he was stamping on the bottom "rung" to sink them into the ground and they didn't twist or bend!I would recommend these, we do have another more expensive metal arch purchased 6 years ago from a well know garden centre, you can't see the fancy details any more now so didn't see the point in doing that again and we're very happy with these ones! Will most definitely purchase again should the need arise. They were not in prime and came 3 days before the estimated delivery date as well so I was extremely impressed with the customer service.
