Fantastic product
I was nervous of switching from the product I had been using for more than 2 years but I am very glad I did. Tints of Nature smells pleasant (it has no chemical odour as my old brand did) and was easy to apply. All my grey is covered perfectly and my hair is in good condition. I like the cap that covers your hair during the colouring process as there is no danger of drips (my old brand dripped messily, which is why I gave up on it in the end). After reading the Tints of Nature website's tips for covering grey, I used a hairdryer to warm my hair for a couple of minutes while I had the cap on, and I left the product on for 40 minutes before rinsing. I also avoided washing my hair the following day. Ten days later, the colour hasn't faded at all so I feel confident that I won't need to colour it again until the roots show in 4-6 weeks. (I'll edit this review if it does fade in the meantime.)The only thing I find odd about this product is the colour description of Dark Blonde. I consider I have dark brown hair but my previous John Frieda colour was 6N (though described as Light Natural Brown) so I chose the Tints of Nature 6N shade. It's perfect.I will definitely continue using Tints of Nature from now on.

Natural, covers greys & excellent quality
I’ve tried a few of the natural hair dyes & none of them worked; especially a brand that is sold in Holland & Barrett & they didn’t work & didn’t cover my greys & have a nasty orange tint to my darkish brown hair. This brand is different & does things differently. The dyes come up a bit darker but look very natural. I highly recommend this brand as it covers greys 100%, gives a natural look, makes hair shiny & beautiful. Very easy to use & even has a pre-shampoo in it to prep the hair.As for colour, I have darkish brown hair & the natural dark bride was too dark so I decided to try this one & it’s much better. I’d recommend this if your hair isn’t very dark brown.I just wish the dye would last a bit longer but that’s hair dye for you!

Fantastic!
Recently I decided I wanted to dye the bottoms of my hair blonde, instead of going to a hairdresser I decided to buy a cheap ombré dye set. As my hair is dark brown the colour went red, and in some places auburn. It did look nice however my hair became very dry and brittle. I also have grey hair - not much but it's noticeable.I didn't want to use a regular dye to bring my hair back to my natural colour brown as i found the dye would wash out after 5 washes ! After much research I found this dye and decided to try it.I was Lucky enough to have my sister in law apply it for me- I highly recommend someone do this for you to ensure your hair is evenly covered. She followed the step by step guide to the letter. The dye looks like green mud, and doesn't smell at all like the usual chemical dye I've used in the past. My sis in law said the colour was very easy to apply and a little went a long way. My hair is around 3/4 inches below my shoulders and one bottle was more than enough. Also no stains left on my head or the bath tub! The colour washed out ver quick. We left the dye on for 45 mins as I had bleach in my hair and The results were fantastic! My hair is evenly covered, no more red or greys. I wouldn't say my hair feels silky soft, although this is due to my hair needing a deep conditioner treatment, as it was dry to begin with.I have given 4 stars as I've not washed my hair yet so let's see how long the dye lasts.Highly recommend for a natural brown even coverage with less nasties inside :)I've added a before and after picture !

A great colourant- just beware of the shade you choose.
I really like tints of nature colours. They contain fewer chemicals, do not smell awful and are a lot gentler on my hair. I purchased this as my second colour, after initially purchasing a medium brown. The medium brown took incredibly well and was very dark, almost comparable to the darkest brown shades I previously bought of other colours. It took 2 hours of wrapping my hair in a concoction of ground up vitamin c tablets and baby shampoo to lift it to a desirable shade. I decided to try this colour and it has coloured my hair a mid brown, with less red and more yellowy blonde colouring to it- I am far more pleased with the result. I'd highly recommend doing a strand test or buying a couple of shades lighter than your desired colour to begin with (worst case scenario the vit c and baby shampoo trick did work- wrap your head in cling film). It doesn't sting, stink or make my eyes water and although it takes a little longer to colour (you need to wash your hair first with a cleansing shampoo they provide) the results leave me feeling happy. Less chemicals= happy me.Note- the photo shows the initial colour and after 2 hours of vitamin c to lift the colour

Still had a bad reaction
If you’re buying this because you’ve developed an allergy to box dyes and hoped this would be different because it’s ’all Natural’ don’t bother. I had the most severe reaction I’ve ever had and needed 2 different steroid creams and antibiotics. My eye got massively swollen too. Don’t be an idiot like me and make sure you do a patch test coz ‘all natural’ don’t mean safe.
