Q: As this item is 1.62m tall and weight is 15kg is she ok when windy or does she require to be secured in some way at the base? Thanks Linda

I have filled the base with cement and then fixed to a grating over the reservoir. It does not move even in high winds.

Q: What would I need to put under this to collect and recycle the water as I understand it splashes to a wide area

Hi Steven. I bought a "Aqua Moda Reinforced heavy duty pebble pool 660mm diameter" reservoir for this statue (£129 from amazon). This works well but I have to keep the pump flow to a minimum because it does splash quite a bit. I top mine up about once a week, the water drops about 1/3 of the volume due to splashing. It is a very nice water feature though.

Q: Can you hear the water cascading and splashing?

You can clearly see it cascading down the statue The loudness of the splashing for mine is determined how far the base of statue is for the water to run into the level of the resevoir -about 20cms which you can hear from 10 to 15 feet away. I use some aqua blue water dye in the water that not only looks good by daylight but also keeps algae down in the reservoir. It also gives the statue an artificial copper sulphate tone.
