Nice little book .good illustrations good value and quality

My daughter and her fiancé will shortly be moving into their first home and, as I’ve already bought and secretly stashed a cocktail shaker away for them, I saw this and thought ‘why not?’Hamlyn 200 series of cookery books is a great asset to any kitchen. Suitable for both beginners and the more experienced there is a recipe for everybody .This particular title includes some lovely cocktail recipes and, like the other titles, has a full colour photo of the finished product. At least you know what you’re working towards, and I find recipe books that don’t include pictures to be a little off-puttingThis book includes a lot of the popular recipes but also some less well known recipes. Look forward to visiting and being offered a cocktail or two!! There’s certainly plenty to choose from!!I purchased this book at a bargain price in Used-Very Good Condition and yes, it really lived up to this description. The seller despatched the book very quickly and it arrived faster than anticipated. More than happy

Can make some nice cocktails

Could not decide how many stars to give; 3 or 4. Just started an interest in making cocktails and this book has plenty to try. Agree with others that it would be better with drinks 'grouped' around the different alcohols and wish it showed pictures of different shaped glasses not just written descriptions, though picture of drink shows serving glass. Being a small, thick book it could be difficult to keep open while hands occupied with pouring ingredients, shaking, and so on. Like the recipe giving equipment list as well as ingredients. I think I will spend time reading it through and pop in book marks (possibly headed Gin, Vodka, etc.) of cocktails I fancy/have alcohol for, then either make and enjoy or go shopping for the ingredients/equipment. .... I am sure as time goes on I will be able to dispense with the bookmarks, and the need for extra hands lol.
