Perfect beverage
Nice tasting, smooth. Doesn’t burn the throat like the original JD.Not the cheapest so only purchase when on offer but lasts ages and have repeat purchases many times.

A great whisky for the price, definitely tastes like a higher drawer JD (which it is).
I will write it as I have in my trusty Whisk(e)y Tasting Notebook :Eye : A strong, dark orangey brown.Nose : Strong alcohol to begin with, then the ‘Traditional’ JD, smoky smell that you get from the standard JD and Gentlemen Jacks’. A bit of toffee, possibly caramel and a little bit of citrus coming through as well.Palate : Bitter and very smoky to start, then a very nice sweetness akin to toffee again coming through.Finish : Warm, sweet lingering charcoal.Overall : Retains that signature Jack Daniel charcoal sweetness, but ditches the excess smoke for more sweetness to form a more balanced and tastier whisky. Bright fruit and spice as well.A great whisky for the price, definitely tastes like a higher drawer JD (which it is). One of the finest USA whiskies I’ve ever had, although the strong alcohol and smoke might put some off.

Mmmmmmm, this has become my favourite JD
I always found No7 a bit 'raw' so Gentleman Jack became my favourite. But my 40 year old bottle of Silver Select finally run out, so I bought some Single Barrel to try & this has now become my new favourite. It's very 'Moreish'!
