Picked this up for regular gym and martial arts use. This drink bottle is cheap (£5 at the time of writing and now reduced to £3.75), plastic and simple. Indeed, there is no capacity markings on the side of the bottle (800 ml) and the sports top is disappointingly rather stiff to open and close if using your fingers. Of course, using your teeth to open will in time destroy the mouthpiece, if not your teeth! I am hoping that this mouthpiece will loosen a little with use. I do like the indent two-thirds up which makes this easy to grip and from which to hold to drink.Water leaks from this if the sports cap is left up but otherwise, turn it upside down and I did not experience any leaks.Purchased for hiking in the Madeira levadas, this was tested out initially in the gym and to my satisfaction. This is certainly suitable and capacious enough for my forthcoming hiking trip. It is a no frills sports bottle suitable for my needs.

Needed a new drinks bottle for when im out on the bike and this looked like a safe bet. Its a decent size, and the clear transparent material means its easy to tell how full/empty it is at a glance. Its also a nice pliable material so flexes as needed when taking a big gulp and will also ensure a bit of protection if dropped as it should take a decent impact. I obviously thoroughly washed it upon its arrival and had no issues with plastic smell or taste which can be common. If you need them, there are 40 & 80g measure points also.I quite often put squash in mine rather than plain water and have not had any issues with staining either. The lid screws on and i have not had any leak issues, the pop up top is a soft rubber so also seems to seal well. Mine is still quite new so the pop up is a little tight and hard to open, especially if you attempt to do so with your teeth! I expect this will loosen over time but its easy enough when you are used to it anyway. Not so much a fault with this bottle but the overall style of bottle... When out on a bike it is easy for dust/mud/rain etc. to flick up, so the exposed top which you put your mouth around can quickly become dirty if you do not have adequate protection from things like mud guards etc. Just something to consider but not something to mark this down for.

Handy bottles to have I bought one for my Son & one for myself. Good value for money.

Big neck for easy filling, fast flowing spout for fast chugging, walls just squashy enough to let you squirt it into your mouth as fast as you like but not so soft that you spurt everywhere unintentionally (good lord). 800ml a good size. 100% watertight - never even the slightest leak.Goes through the dishwasher every week with no issues. Just don't drop it on the spout as it'll snap. The only bottles I every buy. All good.EDIT (2023): They've changed the design of the spout to one with a far inferior sealing system, meaning it's no longer leakproof. No matter how hard you push the top back down it still leaks. My kids' schoolbags and books frequently come home soaked. Possibly still good for cycling as long as they're upright in a bottle cage but no longer the great all purpose bottle for travel / gym bags etc. A real shame they changed the design as previously these were the best bottles on the market. Reduced the score from five stars to two.EDIT (Sept 2024): The good old design is back! Looks like they saw sense and scrapped the stupid leaky "improved" design. These are, once again, the best drinks bottles on the market, and great value at the current £3.50. Well done SiS!

Hasn't lasted very long. There is already leakage around where the top screws on.

I've used this SKU for many, many years and had no problems with it.The predesessor only failed when I SLAMED the teat down too hard with my palm heel.On delivery nspection I have no qualms and expect the same longevity. For this price it's more than value for money.
