King James Bible - Black Gift Edition Hardcover – 6 Oct. 2016

Purchased along with other religious texts in order to get a full understanding of our species history and to get all view points on all religions. It was an experience I would recommend to anyone who is curious about spirituality.

I bought this particular bible to keep as a reference. I am an avid reader and I used to read through a book and never cross check the real context of a bible reference. I no longer do that. The minute I read it in any book or hear a quote in a film, I check it out! The book is well constructed in its own slip on case and stands upright next to me bed for checking whilst I am reading and every now and again I will go through one of the books of the bible for self learning

Nice, but tiny! Font is quite small and paper quite thin. But I like the case and the silver edging on the pages. More of a pretty book to admire on the shelf or give as a gift, than a book suitable for regular/lengthy reading.

I love the language in the King James Bible, and usually read the Cambridge large print soft leather covered edition (which I purchased on Amazon some time ago) but decided to give the Kindle edition a go on this reading. Very convenient and just as practical as the paper edition, considering that the pages in the paper edition are so flimsy. Still haven't made up my mind as to which format I prefer, but I think there are a few typos in the Kindle edition.

Small enough to fit into my handbag and have a hard case to keep it good. I can read it with my reading glasses. My reading glass strength is about 2.5, if that is any help.

Returned this item because I found the print too small fir me. Even though i wear glasses I still can’t see it very well. It’s a lovely bible and most suitable fir gifting.
