Excellent, safe and easy to setup
It's always a bit hit and miss when you're buying products like this online, what may work for one person's doorway may not necessarily work for someone else. However, I can happily say that this product arrived in good time (given that it wasn't available for Prime delivery), was packaged well and most importantly - does what it is meant to do.Pro's:- Set up is a doddle. No holes need to be made, simply fold out the two handles and place them above your doorway!- Protection is good - comes with two rubber protectors on either side of the bar to protect the door frame- I'm not super heavy, but definitely not a lightweight either. I've been using this for the past week and a half and have not had any concern when lifting myself up. The bar remains solid and trustworthy.- No marks on the door frame after useCon's: Nothing to speak of!This bar can be used for pull ups and chin ups, the latter usually being the easiest for most people as it focuses on biceps rather than your lats. I've already seen vast improvement in the number of chin ups and pull ups I can do. A great place for tutorials can be found on YouTube (I recommend Scooby's channel).Overall, a great solid product which I would recommend to anyone.

A really good product. I don't usually write reviews but after reading many for this item before I bought it, I thought I needed to share my opinion aswel. Firstly its incredibly easy to set up, literally can take it out of the box and un-fold two hinges and it's ready to be hooked onto a door frame. Secondly it's much better than so many that I have tried in the past due to the fact that it allows you to do pull-ups which are wider than the door frame you are using. There is a very small downside however, but nothing major. There are no grips on the actual bar which can hurt the palms of your hands a little after a few reps. Some people may be harshly reviewing this, and other, similar products due to two reasons. Either the bar they buy does not fit the door they want to use it on (I did not have this issue and I tried in on three different sized door frames) or they begin to use it and it damages the door-frame or subsequently the paintwork. All I can say is that you should test out the door-frame your going to use it on before you buy it. If it is sturdy and your paintwork/ décor isn't brittle, it won't do any damage. The hooks work well on the opposite side and also the pads on the side facing you when you use it.I feel like I've already said a bit much so in conclusion, it works really well, granted your door frame is sturdy.

Sturdy, convenient - just the job
I'd echo the comments of other reviewers who say that this product is sturdy. I was worried about ending up flat on my back having bought something flimsy, but no such worries here...Once it is fitted to the doorframe (from box opening to completion in about 60 seconds - just swing out the spring loaded arms and you're done...) it is rock solid. The instructions claim a max user weight of 20st which is reassuring. I am around 14st and it doesn't budge an inch. The rubber feet at the front don't lie on a flat section of doorframe/architrave due to the design of my frame, but it doesn't make any difference and doesn't mark at all as long as you ensure that the rubber section is in contact with a flattish surface. The bar is quite narrow (2.5cm diameter), so I have put on a couple of Tournagrip tennis grips for comfort (for the lady of course ;o) and it feels a bit better now (so I'm told...)I haven't done pull-ups regularly for a few years, so it will be a while before I am knocking out sets of wide-arm pull-ups and need to put grip tape out there, but I have tried a couple and it's definitely wide enough for me when I get to that point!I'm not sure I'd use it for press-ups as we have a Reebok deck for that sort of thingWidth-------Width-wise it would fit most of the doors in my house, however some of them are in corners against other doors, so it's not convenient to put it there and I have it on the lounge door which is on a longer section of wall.It will fit in a corner though - As long as your architrave is equal to/more than 89cm wide (the width of the unit) it should be fine as it won't protrude at each end. Also, the outside of the two arms which go through the door and hook on top of the frame the other side are 66.5cm wide. So as long as your doorway is wider than this (you'll probably need to open the door all the way flat against the wall to get it out of the way enough), they will feed through ok.My lounge door is 74cm wide at the frame's narrowest point (so plenty of clearance for the arms to feed through) and the architrave is 91.5cm wide, so it doesn't stick out beyond the edge of the frame.Height--------My doorframes upstairs are 200cm high (floor to top edge of frame) so the bar sits a little low for me at 183cm tall. I'd have to bend my knees quite a bit to do a full extension pull-up.My lounge door is 206cm high and that extra 6cm makes it feel a lot more comfortable - The bottom of the bar itself is 198.5cm off the floor. All in all, £24 very well spent I'd say.

Pretty Great.
Fits my door and adjustability comes to good use in stabilisation.
