This is the leash we always trust for our walks. We’ve tried others over the years, but we always end up coming back to this one (I think we’ve bought three or four now). It’s just so practical and sturdy. We love that you can clip it into different positions depending on how short or long you want it, and it feels really secure even if your dog pulls. And our dog pulls a lot!Ours does fray over time, but only because he loves to bite it when he’s feeling cheeky (can’t blame the lead for that!). Despite that, it always holds up well and gives us great performance day to day. It’s comfy to hold and works beautifully whether we’re doing short lead training or letting him roam a bit more.Honestly, it’s one of those products we just automatically reorder when needed because it’s never let us down. If you want a flexible, reliable, and well-made lead that makes walking easier, this one is a favourite in our house.

This is a fantastic lead! I had been purchasing a local product that I liked very much. Our dog chewed through our old lead and I needed one quickly. I ordered this Halti lead as it was on Prime and I new it would arrive the next day. I didn't have much hope that it would be as great as our previous lead and I also put an order in to replace our old lead with a new one from the same place as I had purchased before.The material, while soft, is very strong. The stitching is holding up extremely well. The clasps are sturdy and well made. There are 3 rings on this lead. One is right close to one of the clasps as a D ring (I hook this end to the collar ring), the next is in the middle and is a large circular ring, and the third is about 3 inches from the other end clasp. When we are walking near a road I clip the far end to the end that has the D ring right near the clasp by the collar. This puts the O-ring in the middle of the lead and I am able to slip a portion of the lead through the ring to create a loop for my hand. When we are walking away from the road and I am happy to have my dog on a longer lead I simply unclip the lead end that doesn't have the ring very near the clasp and then clip it back on itself on the D-ring that is about 3 inches from the same end. This creates a loop for the wrist. When I run with my dog I loop the lead around my waist and clip is around the material of the lead. I still have plenty of room between myself and the dog and feel very secure. My hand are free and if I need to correct the dog I simply reach down to the lead to make the correction.This lead is fantastic as an everyday lead or a training lead. It is a great price and very easy to use.

Good leads. My only complaint is the colour range. I want a yellow one to indicate my dog needs space. Nearest you can get is burnt orange. WHY?!

I bought this HALTI training lead to help with Waffle’s pulling on walks and it has made a noticeable difference. The double-ended design is clever and gives you more control without being harsh. It’s lightweight but feels strong and durable, so I’m not worried about it snapping or wearing out quickly.The size large is perfect for Waffle and the 2-metre length gives enough room for him to explore without getting too far. The burnt orange colour is bright and easy to spot, which is great for walks in the evening.It’s easy to use even if you’re new to training leads and it feels comfortable in my hands. I’d recommend it for anyone struggling with a strong puller or just wanting a bit more control on walks.

I have a mobility disability and have purchased many leads and this item beats them all. I wish I had seen this sooner as its a game changer. It is very versatile and takes time with your friend to experience the technics that suits you. The two D rings are handy for your accessories and it has two attachments. I choose Red and it stands out which I wanted and it has that very slight stretch on a pull. For its durability and versatility at this price I am very happy and I recommend.

Halti leads are great stops my pup pulling when I attach it to collar and harness. 100% would recommend. I think people posting about "my dog chewed through it" that's a behaviour not a problem with the product get your dog to stop chewing. The lead is great and durable comfy and soft and multi use is perfect. The burnt orange one is gorgeous years ago I brought one and only had red and black really like the new colours. Will probably buy another just for a colour change.

We lost our dog lead, hiking over the weekend and were recommended to this lead by a number of dog-walking friends. Firstly, this is a third of the price (£8.29) to the one we lost and secondly, it is brilliant. I particularly like the versatility of this, the fabric used and the strong metal clips.It can be shortened and lengthened and you can even tether your dog if necessary using the metal clips. Further, you can use this to walk or train your dog hands free or walk two dogs on the one lead.We ordered the large but as you can shorten it (and it was cheaper than the smaller size), we are very glad we opted for this length. There are no negatives.

Seems quite sturdy and functional, when connected at the front and chest of a none Halti harness it does reduce pulling. I like that the lead can be used around the waist and in different positions. There is no particular handle grip but the lead itself is quite soft, so is comfortable to hold.
