I broke the original glass container, this was a perfect replacement

This was ordered for use in a Bodum coffee maker but it is slightly smaller than the original (now broken) one. It works OK but the original was a good fit and this one is slightly small. No problem yet but always have the feeling it will fall out when pouring coffee.

Clear glass, size 1 litre, easy to clean for all but the largest hands, excellent quality, bought as a replacement because previous glass broke following being dropped. Would recommend.

I recently purchased the Bodum Replacement Glass, and I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase! The 8-cup capacity is perfect for my needs, and the 1 L size makes it convenient for both personal use and hosting guests. The glass feels like high quality, and sturdy. It fits seamlessly into it's housing. Overall, a fantastic replacement glass that exceeded my expectations!

Great replacement at a good price

I got this after the original beaker on my off-brand 1000 mL/8 Cup cafetière broke. It has behaved wonderfully, sliding in and out the cafetière body without issue and staying firmly in place when fitted all the way in. It’s had no loss of heat (no more than what you would normally get in a beaker anyway) and I’ve had no problems with cleaning, a quick lather&rinse or popping it in the dishwasher will do. I’ve been most impressed by it when it survived the cafetière being swung at a wall, after the table it was on was accidentally toppled over. I really did not think the poor beaker would survive, but it was the wall that suffered the most, having come out of it with a coffee stain. I thought I was done with trying to ‘kill’ my beaker, but it turns out I wasn’t, as I was dancing in my living room one day and yet again hit the table the French press was on, and down on the (carpeted) floor we go. Imagine my astonishment when the press is yet again intact, not even a crack. But all good things come to an end, as I shortly thereafter managed to topple the table over once more, and this time my Bodum beaker had enough and exited in style, breaking everywhere, shards all over the carpet. It’s had an amazingly good run though, despite its over-the-top clumsy owner, and I shall be buying it again. Maybe I’ll get a sturdier table while I’m at it too...
