Wonderful book. My 8 year old son listened and smiled at the end. I thought it might be too young for him but it's a good story that is a pleasure. Affirming .

I bought two of these one for my son and one for my godson/nephew. Amazing book!

Personally, I am not a big fan of this book. However, I must admit that since we have it home (over a week now) my son, who is not yet 3 years old, asks for it every evening. He just loves it and we have had deep conversations about him and God after reading it. So thumbs up... even though the father is not really into the story's plot and he does not really understand why his son is so much into this book.

This was a gift for my best friends kids. They really enjoyed the book and their parents too :)

This book just arrived. I read the book before I read it to my two kids. I love the story's simplicity and yet powerful message. I read a review prior to buying the book that complained that they were confused how tucker not Jesus was the perfect gift. I can understand their confusion but when you read the book closely Tucker is trying to figure out what to bring the the king so the king will help him and his friends. The reason he says Tucker is the perfect gift is because he's reminding us we don't have to bring anything to God to get him to help us just ourselves. His door is always open. It's not about what we can give so he'll help it's about us going to him and trusting him to take care of us. Anway I personally think it's a great book. It's written for kids but reveals some beautiful attributes about God that kids will understand. I personally felt the message was clear and opened up a great conversation with my kids. Sometimes as adults when we're reading books like this we over complicate something that is simple and read to much into it. A beautifully written story that teaches kids about God and his love for them. 😀

Simple, just too cute and in the perfect size! Plus, it's the best and sweetes way to introduce your little one with God's word. We love it! <3
