Burt's Bees Natural Cleanser Soap Bark and Chamomile Deep Cleansing Cream – 1 x Tube 170 grams

Whilst I like to make a lot of my own cleansers and creams, I can't deny that some of Burt's Bees products (especially the cleansers) outperform what I can make myself, especially if you suffer with anything other than perfect skin. Things like soap bark being fantastic natural cleansers great at minimising oil production are not items I can source myself (unfortunately) I have oily spot prone skin and to minimise dead skin buildup I give myself a facial once a week. I use this as the first cleansing step. It is fantastic, I cannot stress it enough. The smell is beautiful, it doesn't smell like mint at all, it smells like sherbet. If my eyes were closed I would probably want to eat it. A small bit goes a long way, use it sparingly. It also contains witch hazel which is a great astringent and useful in reducing acne. There are a lot of comments that say it burns. The only sensation I feel after using this is one of deep clean and calm. My face feels lovely and fresh. But then I only use this once a week, perhaps these commenters are using this everyday, I wouldn't recommend using it daily as it is a 'deep' cleanser and may strip a lot of your skins natural oils away if used daily. Maybe once or twice a week is best. Edit - I realise where the comments regarding burning come from. If you leave the mask on your face for more than a few minutes, you will get a more intense 'tingling' sensation. But I think this is just the menthol as when I wash the mask off, my face isn't red or inflamed and the tingling sensation goes away pretty quickly.

I have used this product once daily for 6 months before writing this review. I am not loyal to many products, but this is one I now stock up on. It is lovely and creamy, it doesn’t lather up. I just massage it into my face, it leaves your skin with a lovely fresh tingly feeling - then remove with a hot wash cloth. It removes all traces of make up and if you gently spread it over your eye lids and under your eyes in the morning wash, the lovely tingly feeling really wakes up your tired eyes. It has never stung my eyes. I suffer from SAD, so mornings can be particularly painful and this gives me a much needed wake up boost and reduces puffiness. Gentle, natural and invigorating for morning use, my skin glows. Can’t find any fault with it and the price is very reasonable (cheaper on amazon!). One tube lasts me about 6 weeks, using it once daily. I use a 5p size blob each time.

I suffer from sensitive skin that varies from dry to oily; I use a separate cleanser and toner once a day to truly remove impurities but like to have a facewash for use in the shower. After trying various brands of so-called sensitive face washes which all promise to gently deep clean, I was still suffering from irritated skin and it would always feel very tight afterwards. Hail the revolution that is Burt's Bees Soap Bark and Chamomile Deep Cleansing Creme! The smell is divine, it's like rubbing a Refresher bar on your face! It smells of lemon sherbet and my mouth waters every time I use it. The consistency is thick and creamy, and you don't need to use much. It makes the skin tingle, similar to products that contain mint and/or tea tree, but it's a pleasant sensation that creates that deep-clean feel. Afterwards, my skin feels clean, pampered and very soft - I don't even need to use moisturiser which is rare! My face isn't irritated, it feels soothed - and I feel fresh and imagine I'm glowing after using this!

Overall it’s a nice cleanser. Can’t go wrong Burts Bees. The moment you lather on your face with water, you can feel instantly this fresh tinging sensation. It doesn’t lather into foam nor bubbles, just texture of soap in a tube. More hygienic than a bar of soap. Price is not too bad. Would definitely recommend this.

This is a lovely cleanser, cleans the face well, I sometimes use it as a mini mask. I like the clean soft feels it leaves. I don't rinse it off with water, unless in the shower, if I'm just washing my face, I wipe with a flannel and warm water. Lasts well.

This is my 3rd purchase and I continue to love it. Following the instructions I apply it to my face and it cleanses your skin amazingly with a little tingle. Yes it's quite thick but lathers nicely.. Just avoid the eyes or you might get a slight sting.

I absolutely love this and will buy again and again and again! I understand different skin types will have a different review of products. If your like me and you have occasional breakouts, grayish appearing skin, quite pale and always looking a bit dull. Also sometimes feeling dry...this is for you! It smells incredible, feels lovely and I love how my face feels like its breathing afterwards. Your eyes feel abit fresh afterwards like your mouth when you've had a really minty mouthwash 😂 but I quite like it, feels so clean. Buy...you won't regret it!

Really disliked the strong sickly sweet smell others have likened to 'refresher' sweets. I find it really nauseating. As it said removes make up, I expected that to include eye make up, like Liz Earles Cleanse and Polish I usually use. When I did, it burned my eyelids and made my eyes smart. I have never had any problem like this with other products. Then I read the packaging and it says to not use around the eyes. So I have to use another product to remove eye make up, but even then the menthol in the product still makes my eyes smart. I don't think I can even persevere to use the tube up. I love other burts bees products but this one is not for me and is misleading re removing make up.

コールドクリームに近い、硬めのテクスチャです。洗い流すとひんやりとした清涼感があります。 脂性肌のわたしには手放せないクレンジングですが、洗浄力も高めなので敏感肌、乾燥肌の方には合わないかも。

One of the best cleansers I have used. Highly rate it. Not greasy, the smell is not over powering either.

Jahrelang suchte ich nach einer milden, hautverträglichen Lösung, welche meiner Mischhaut gerecht wird. Wenn ich meine Haut nicht pflege, dann sehe ich ziemlich pickelig aus- und das, mit bald 30 Jahren. Mit der Burts Bees Reinigungscreme hat sich meine Haut die letzten 3 Jahre wirklich stark verbessert. Ich habe nur noch selten Pickel und Unreinheiten. Die Creme wird auf die feuchte Haut aufgetragen, schön aufgeschäumt und dann mit lauwarmen Wasser abgespült. 1x monatlich verwende ich zusätzlich etwas Feinkristallzucker für einen schönen Peeling-Effekt. Der Geruch ist sehr angenehm, und nach der Anwendung fühlt sich die Haut dank der Minze richtig frisch an. Im Winter benötigt meine Haut teilweise etwas Feuchtigkeit, deshalb ergänze ich meine Routine in der kalten Jahreszeit mit reinem Aloe Vera Gel am morgen. Qualität & Ergebnis lassen sich sehen- klare Empfehlung!

Muy agradable por la sensación de limpieza y frescor que deja. Me gusta sobre todo para el verano por lo que refresca, además con el aroma mentolado siento que me despeja. Tiene una textura suave y algo densa, no se aclara tan fácil como un gel. Mejor humedecer la piel antes de aplicar el producto (cuidado con los ojos porque escuece), masajear y aclarar. Tengo piel mixta y deshidratada y me funciona muy bien, no me irrita ni deja sensación de tirantez.
