Turtle Beach Recon Cloud Wired Game Controller with Bluetooth for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows
The Turtle Beach Recon Cloud Wired Game Controller with Bluetooth is designed for versatile gaming across Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows, and Android devices. This hybrid controller combines the traditional wired performance for consoles and PC with the flexibility of Bluetooth for mobile gaming.**Design and Build:**The Recon Cloud controller features a sturdy build with textured triggers and bumpers for enhanced grip. It includes a detachable 10ft braided cable for wired use, ensuring a reliable connection with no input lag for Xbox and PC gaming. The controller's ergonomic design includes cooling grips that help keep hands dry and reduce fatigue during long gaming sessions. The phone mount, included for mobile gaming, is adjustable but can feel top-heavy, which might be uncomfortable for extended use.**Performance and Features:**When connected via wire, the controller excels with Turtle Beach’s signature features such as Superhuman Hearing, which amplifies critical in-game sounds like enemy footsteps, and customizable audio EQ presets. These features enhance the gaming experience by providing clear and precise audio feedback. The controller also includes mappable rear buttons and Pro Aim Focus Mode, which fine-tunes thumbstick sensitivity for accurate long-range targeting. In wireless mode, the Recon Cloud offers a robust 30-hour battery life, suitable for extended mobile gaming sessions. However, some users have reported occasional input latency issues when connected via Bluetooth, which can impact performance in fast-paced games. The controller supports cloud gaming services like Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, GeForce Now, and Stadia, expanding its versatility.**Audio and Controls:**The Recon Cloud is equipped with comprehensive audio controls, including game and chat balance, mic monitoring, and a 3.5mm headset jack, making it an excellent choice for gamers who prioritize audio quality. These features are especially beneficial during intense gaming sessions, ensuring clear communication and immersive sound.**Conclusion:**The Turtle Beach Recon Cloud Wired Game Controller with Bluetooth is a feature-rich and versatile controller that performs exceptionally well on Xbox and PC when used in wired mode. Its additional audio controls and customizable settings make it stand out. While it is also designed for mobile gaming, the experience is somewhat hindered by occasional input latency and ergonomic challenges with the phone mount.Overall, if you are looking for a controller that offers extensive features and solid performance for console and PC gaming, the Recon Cloud is a strong contender. However, if your primary focus is mobile gaming, you might want to consider other options that provide a more comfortable and reliable experience.

Excellent Quality. As good as an Elite.
Initially, I was a little bit skeptical when deciding to order this introller, because of all the negative reviews and I am glad I didn't let them sway me from the purchase. I mainly use the controller with my Galaxy Tab 9ultra and it performs as well as I could expect. Buttons are very responsive and the sticks have performed marvelously and are showing no signs of drift. It gets used quite a bit and is holding strong. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a controller to use for gaming in the cloud on the go.

A massive let down of product with zero longevity
I've bought three of these controllers, each of them start out working flawlessly and are amazing when they do work, however the issue is they absolutely DO NOT work for long. All three of my controllers have started glitching anywhere from 30 to 45 days after purchase, the most recent one I bought in November 2023 and as of December 2023 it's unusable due to the controller seemingly have bound each X,Y,B,A input as if I pressed all 4 plus the right bumper at all once. The controller I had before that would randomly act as if the right trigger was being pressed when my finger would be nowhere near it, and the first one had random left stick drift and input jumps.I really wanted to love this controller, that's why I gave turtle beach a 1st and 2nd try figuring the first two were a fluke, yet after the 3rd controller issue, it's beyond obvious that this is a faulty product with massive hardware and software flaws and should be avoided at all cost.Side note: The Recon Controller app is utterly useless and looks as if turtle beach just gave up half way through developing it. I own A LOT of turtle beach hardware and I'm just utterly disappointed by how awful these controllers have been when they have so much potential..

whole new dimension to pc game play
Turtle Beach is probably as old as I am. They've been making game controllers for as long as I've been playing video games (since at least 1995). I got this to use with games on XBox Game Pass and fell in love with it. It also comes with an attachment that is supposed to help you attach it to your smart phone for game play. I can't say much about that attachment, as I can't get it to attach properly to the controller, but the controller itself is simply awesome! If you have a PlayStation or an XBox, it is very similar to their controllers. The game that I have played the most with it is Halo. It's night and day when compared to keyboard and mouse gaming!

Controller works great on everything except in bluetooth mode on PC
When the device is removed from cable connection and connected to the PC via Bluetooth the analog sticks function differently than what you would expect, the right analog stick loses its left to right function and only operates as up and down which swings the camera left to right. Very clunky and difficult to get use to.
