The add clearly stated the unit comes WITH a fairing block. It did not!

Good mid-range priced transducer
For a mid-price range transducer, this does the trick for me. I have it paired up with a Furuno LS 6100, which is an older model, black & white screen echo sounder. Don't expect a HUGE amount of detail in depths over 40 fathoms, but if you're fishing in depths under that, you should be OK. I do a lot of jigging for Pacific Grey cod, & have no problem seeing these fish on the screen, even though they are often hugged up close to the bottom & typically aren't densely schooled up. Densely schooled fish, can most assuredly see just fine on the screen. Have had this product for about a year, and so far I am pretty happy with it, especially since I typically don't fish in anything much deeper than 40 fathoms.
