Excellent Quality Pens and Case Design
I haven't used the three higher millimeter calligraphy nibs (2.0, 2.5, 3.0) or the fourth nib, a brush nib for Japanese & Chinese character painting.I'm happy with the extra fine nib, the bent nib, and the 1.5 mm calligraphy nib.

Love the bent nib, my new daily writer
Great value. So many pens, nibs, and cartridges, and good quality. I especially like the bent nib, the angle isn't as large as others I have tried so it gives nice line variation, but not too wide, and can be used as an everyday writer. My new favorite!

What a delight!
They write well, tons of carts and nibs. But the care that was put into the box and the texture of the pens themselves totally blew me away. I can't remember the last time I have been this impressed with an art supply item that I got this stoked about. Buy these and would make a great gift too.

Great pens, but Needs stronger packaging
I really like the beginner calligraphy pens in this set, except that I wish one of the pen colors is pink (but that is just me) and some of the colored inks are too light in color for calligraphy. I wish it came with more black ink or replacement nibs instead. I love the build quality of the pens, which have a really nice, heavy weight to them but not too heavy, and it's possible to post the caps on the opposite end when tge pen is in use, which I really prefer. Also, There is a nice, smooth added texture to the pens. It feels velvet-like, but is probably something like fine silicone. This enhances the grip. Also, the tips of the nibs on some of the pens is angled a bit. I am right-handed, and just a beginner. I will come back and comment as to whether the angle seems to make true calligraphy easier or more difficult. It is certainly different. The box itself is well designed and made of strong cardboard and a nice, dense and durable foam to house the pens. And the amount of ink supplied, including LOTS of black, is dantastic. Unfortunately for me, the box was only wrapped in a bubble sleeve and arrived smashed in one corner. This did not damage the pens nor ink, but it certainly could have. No instructional pamphlet about calligraphy was included, but I have purchased other books for that. Kudos to the pen designers here, though, speaking as a beginner but one who loves good quality.
