Blown away.
Amazing price and value, built like, feels like, and preforms better than OEM in my opinion. They took me like 5 minutes to install, look classy, and make it more practical instead of having to use a 2x4 to hold up the hood, because the bmw ones like to lose the gas they have and not support the hood anymore. Love these and hold up great 3 months after i started using them.👊

Fit as it should and works . The hood supports on my 335d BMW were weak and allowing the hood to close , these so far are doing a great job .

Quick and easy DIY replacement
Took my car to the dealer for another fix and they noticed my lifts were starting to give. Got a $300 quote to get it taken care of. Instead, I placed the order for these lift supports and I received them two days later. Took all of 5 minutes to replace them and saved myself a nice chunk of change.

Wrong- it does fit an E90!!!!
The product description says that it doesn’t fit a 2006 BMW 330xi. The only ones that are claimed to be compatible are trunk hood length! You end up with a front hood that opens 1/3 at best. It makes repairs too difficult. Remembering that I had to replace the hood struts on my E60 5-series, I realized that they are the perfect length for my E90. The wrong ones were quickly replaced and the hood now opens fully!!! I can actually get to the engine’s rear. I was going to take off a star because of the wrong compatibility claim that is a “copycat” type.
