The cover adds a nice touch
Got this for a new head unit for my truck, connected both ports and they've been working without problems for months. The cover provides for a clean install.

Works great
This was exactly what I needed to get the USB ports to my dash from the new Android head unit I got. It is a pretty self-explanatory process for the installation. I used a 1-inch step bit to drill my hole, but I would say just a slightly larger one would have been nice. I ended up needing to make the hole slightly larger to get the threads through.

I bought this for a 3D print Project and works exactly as intended. It allows for a flush 3.0 mount and is very fast without latency.

Fits in 1” hole
I installed a Retrosound stereo in my classic El Camino and it came with two usb ports, but they were almost inaccessible. I bought this and mounted it in my glove compartment. Now I don’t have to pull wiring down from behind my dash to access the usb ports.

All units received where defective for data transmission
All of the units I received all had bad connections either in the socket or the leads. Bad pinning in the usb3 connectors means they can't be used for transmitting data. Now they all need to be ripped out and replaced.
