Fantastic little printer!
Replacing an old Kodak Mini 2 and this is perfect. Comes with some starter sheets and functions perfectly, I've had zero issues after a year. App is simple and easy to use, device holds a charge longer than the manual estimates, great build quality & appearance, and the fact you have the option to peel the backing off and turn prints into stickers is awesome. Prints do come out slightly different but it takes only 1 or 2 prints to see how you need to adjust the colors/temperature. If you're just looking for something to print memories or make stickers for fun, this is perfect. If you want studio quality prints, look elsewhere. Very satisfied!

Perfect Little Smartphone Printer
The Canon Ivy II is an amazing little photo printer and works perfectly with my smartphone. Setup was quick and easy, and the app is very user-friendly. The prints come out clear, vibrant, and surprisingly detailed for such a small device. I love how compact and portable it is—I can take it anywhere and print photos on the spot. The sticker-back photos are a fun bonus for journaling, scrapbooking, and memory keeping. Overall, it’s reliable, convenient, and absolutely worth it.

Perfect for travel journaling!
I bought this specifically for journaling and travel. It exceeded those expectations completely. It's smaller than I thought it would be and very easy to set up and use. I knew when I purchased that the photo quality would be less than - that is the nature of instant zink. It's not meant for perfect print quality. I already love this thing so much and am so glad I purchased! It's been fun to journal with

For the scrapbooking girlies: get this
For my junk journaling or scrapbooking girlies, get this! I've tried the cheaper options and not worth it. The canon print is super high quality and pictures come out perfect every single time. The instructions and apps very easy to use. It's not too big or heavy so it fits in my bag or purse easily. The pairing process was so easy to learn and compatible with my phone

Use for book and movie covers in bullet journal
Ok, so...is it nice? Yeah. Do i like it? Yeah. Does it have some issues? Yeah. Lets go over them. 1. Cut off issues- The bottom row is definitely shorter than the top row. You might have cut off issues. I use the 4 equal parts collage to print 4 mini movie and book covers. I added a photo of my recent cutting of the movie covers (the photo of the 4 movie covers lined up in a row). I bought a paper cutter because i thought i was just really bad at cutting or something, and that isnt it. It definitely cuts off the bottom row. I dont see why they cant just make the cells even. Its really annoying. So if you have wording towards the bottom, make sure you add that to the top row, not the bottom 2. Photo quality- As you can see from my photos, the quality of the image is really nice, in my opinion (even being such small images). On the Irish Wish cover, you might notice it looks slightly blurred. That is NOT a printing issue, that was how the photo looked from the Internet (because i couldnt find a higher quality image that would allow me to download. 3. Downloads- the mini print app wont let you use photos youve downloaded that are "protected", like movie/book covers from amazon, goodreads or IMDb, you'll have to try a download and then double check that mini print shows the image or not to print. 4. Paper- the canon paper isnt cheap and it could have been a temporary issue, but it ships very, very slowly. You can use zink paper from other companies in the printer, but they make you jump through hoops by having to "scan the blue paper" which has a barcode on it that it scans, which is dumb. I added a canon zink paper pack and then just incorporated another zink paper pack into it by adding a few sheets here and there (which works just fine, the printer doesnt know when youve "used all 10 sheets on the pack" so i basically used 20 sheets after scanning just 1 blue canon paper). The photo i provided (the one with the 4 movie covers lined up) was on zink paper not from canon. The other photos were from canon paper or another zink paper and they all printed of equal quality. 5. Connection issues- at first this connected to my phone just fine and everything worked great, until one day it just decided NOT to connect. Here's how i fixed it: a) "forget" the printer from your bluetooth, delete it completely. b) Delete the mini print app and redownload it c) give your phone a restart d) Then open the mini print app and reconnect the printer from there (dont try to reconnect it through the phone's bluetooth, it won't recognize it on the mini print app and keep saying "cannot connect" or it'll tell you to "turn on the printer" even though it is on) this was a huge hassle and annoyance trying to figure it out. But, now that i figured it out, I'm thinking it won't be too much trouble anymore, so hopefully this helps someone out there to not struggle with it. 6. Final thoughts- its a cute little compact printer that prints pretty high quality images. Its great for my bullet journal (i added some photos from my journal for you to see). It has its complications and little annoyances, but all in all, it was worth the purchase and i like it, and it made my journal super fun and cute.

Life changing
I'm an epileptic. I take strong medication. I have terrible memory, and it feels like it's always getting worse. I decided that I would take up journaling in the new year to help me retain memories a little better, but knew I needed something to motivate me to actually write. I've tried journaling many times in the past and always gave up a few entries in. I thought that perhaps this printer would be that motivation, and I was correct! It's easy, instant, and a lot of fun to use. I think having visuals to go along with my entries will probably help a lot with that retention aspect, too. I used to be super into photography, but got depressed and stopped doing it even after I recovered. Now that I've been journaling with this printer, I'm taking photos again and having a blast doing it. I've realized that having my precious photos stored in "the cloud" just means that they'll be unorganized, unseen and mixed in with 1000s of screenshots and stupid memes, so having these little physical copies is priceless! I didn't realize how much I've missed printed photos. Just understand that it is film. It works in a similar manner to a polaroid camera, and you won't get incredible HD quality. Look elsewhere for that, you'll likely need one that uses ink. I personally love and almost prefer the vintage look, but I know that not everybody is into that so be aware. Battery life is pretty short, but it charges so quickly that it doesn't really bother me (I'm talking like, 10 minutes tops for a full charge AND you can use it while its plugged in.) This little printer is in my hall of fame for impulse buys. Price is reasonable, price for film is reasonable, I'd definitely recommend it! (PS: If you have a clear phone case, it's really fun to print stuff to put behind it. Just so you know Lol)

Great product!!
I got this photo printer (along with the case) almost 3 years ago in December 2023, and I still use it!! It's amazing!! I haven't had any issues with it, it's been so good to me! I don't use it often, but it's so cool that the photos are able to be stickers as well! I love this product and always recommend it over any polaroid cameras because the photos are only a little smaller, but you can just print right from your phone! I think it's worth the purchase! It may be a little pricey, but if you wait for a sale, BUY IT!! You won't regret it! (I'm writing a review years later because I'm recommending it to my sister and I saw that I never reviewed it). It's nice and compact (fits in my hand), so you can take it with you anywhere if you need!!

The BEST Budget Gift For Anyone!
My Experience: I originally received the Canon Ivy 2 as a birthday gift and after using it, I thought to myself – this is the perfect gift for anyone! I could print many polaroid-like prints of my significant other and me, which was perfect for our little memory book for our anniversary. I paid roughly $70 for this during Christmas, and it was a great gift that did not break my bank. The Goods / Pros Excellent In-App Features: The Canon Mini Print App connects smart devices to the Ivy 2, and it is effortless to print and customize photos. The app allows you to customize the photo with custom borders and you’re able to crop images perfectly to the frame you want. Inkless Printing with ZINK Technology: The ZINK (Zero Ink) technology is a standout feature that eliminates the need for ink cartridges. The recipient can enjoy mess-free printing with colorful, vibrant prints thanks to the embedded dye-based crystals in the paper. Be careful, however, not to get any water near it, as it can completely stain the image! Print Quality: The Ivy 2 Mini Photo Printer goes the extra mile with improved print quality. Enhanced skin tone colors, increased photo contrast, and sharper details ensure that each print vividly captures the essence of the captured moments. The Cons / Bads: Heat and Battery Life: Be wary that the device has TERRIBLE battery life and that it may heat it fairly quickly. As of now, there are no significant drawbacks to the Canon Ivy 2 Mini Photo Printer. It has proven to be a delightful and user-friendly gift without any notable downsides. Quality Comparison vs Other Products: Compared to other options on the market, the Canon Ivy 2 stands out with its superior print quality, hassle-free ZINK technology, and enhanced connectivity features. It serves as a perfect blend of functionality and sentimentality. I always thought that the design of the printer itself was generally better than the others. Verdict: The Canon Ivy 2 Mini Photo Printer is unquestionably a 5-star gift. It promises to turn memories into tangible treasures, combining convenience, high print quality, and seamless user experience! I highly recommend this as a gift to anyone or if you are just starting a memory book like me.

Awesome!
Love this printer, it makes it so easy to do a little scrapbook or print on the go. Colours do come out a little darker than they seem on my phone, but not so much as to be an issue. If you're printing a lot of pictures, you will find the battery drains fast.

A Tiny Printer That Delivers Big Smiles – Perfect Gift for Creative Types
I bought this Canon Ivy 2 photo printer on Amazon as a birthday gift for my girlfriend, and it was a total hit. She’s the artsy, sentimental type who loves scrapbooking, journaling, and decorating everything—so I figured a portable photo printer might be her vibe. I was right. Setup & Connectivity: Setup was ridiculously easy. The Canon Mini Print app walks you through everything—Bluetooth connection, firmware update, even how to load the ZINK photo paper. She had it up and running within minutes, printing photos directly from her iPhone. Zero tech headaches. Print Quality: For a tiny, inkless printer that fits in your hand, the print quality is actually impressive. Obviously, it’s not meant to replace a high-end photo lab, but the images are colorful, sharp enough, and perfect for journals, wall collages, or the fridge. The 2x3” prints have a sticky back too, which makes decorating insanely easy. Portability: This thing is really compact—fits in a purse or a hoodie pocket. She brought it with us on a road trip and printed pics right from the passenger seat. Battery life is solid; she got through most of a weekend without recharging. The App: The Canon Mini Print app is user-friendly and fun. Tons of filters, frames, stickers, and collage options. You can even draw on photos before printing, which she loves. It turns selfies into mini art projects. Paper Refills: ZINK paper isn’t super cheap, but it’s not outrageous either. And because there’s no ink to deal with, it’s way less messy and way more travel-friendly. Final Thoughts: Honestly, this was one of those gifts that keeps on giving. She’s been printing memories non-stop—photos of us, her cat, favorite meals, quotes, you name it. It’s personal, creative, and just plain fun. If you’re looking for a unique gift that’s both practical and thoughtful, the Canon Ivy 2 is a fantastic choice. Especially for anyone who loves DIY, journaling, or just wants to bring their digital photos into the real world. Rating: ★★★★★ It made her happy—and that’s really all I wanted. Bonus points for how easy and fun it is to use.
