The handle that opens the scoop is a bit flimsy, but it works well for scooping droppings. The size is good and overall is very light weight.

This product is, in my opinion, one of the best pooper scoopers available. It’s incredibly durable, and we have five big dogs, so it has never struggled to pick up their poop.

The overall quality is good other than the handle and pull handle housing. Each feeling a little flimsy and would be better if molded from aluminum as the shaft was. I will be putting this to use for the reason we all know, picking up dog dookie. Let’s see how it holds up!

Very good

I thought this would have been a good scooper since the description says plastic and aluminum. The shank is aluminum. Cheap aluminum. The shank twists and the handle twists also. Made so cheap if any pressure is applied trying to scoop, it feels like it will break. Return states you might not get complete refund if used. Well how the heck will I know if it works or not if I do not try it out. Stay away from this and this company.

Springs and handle tension needed are a bit more than most scoopers. This is due to a 3-spring configuration for clamping clam shell closed...not just one or two like cheaper (or cheaply built) units. It does take some getting used to the effort to overcome the springs. However, this assures better 'retention'; and the quality of materials for springs is very good; the springs are thicker than any I've seen previously. With the aluminum components of the center rod, the tougher plastics used, I look forward to many years of service and have no doubt I will see such. A great product.
