Our family has only recently begun our caravan journey and boy have I bought a lot of gadgets. However, the one that really (truly) has made my life easier already has been this extension bit.I was that guy, out there with a hand crank, turning and turning, while secretly wishing for an easier way. Then, one day, I saw someone doing it with a drill and it was a lightbulb moment; I knew I had to have one.Now, with this nifty tool in my arsenal, I zip through lowering and stowing the caravan legs in no time. It's like swapping a butter knife for a chainsaw. The drill does all the heavy lifting, and I'm just there to oversee the operation. And I won't lie – whenever I see someone still doing it the old-fashioned way, I can't help but chuckle a little. Not out of mockery, but because I remember my first few setups doing it by hand all too well, and I'm just grateful for this little bit of genius that's saved me time and spared me from arm-aching cranking.
