This is the original formula
The gold and black is the previous iteration of bad boy, it still smells good but it's not bad boy la parfume by carolina herrera. The other has a more earthy and subtle aroma where this is extremely strong and in your face, this is a clubbing aroma even one spray is enough for 6 hours

I like the cologne, and I love the bottle it comes in. What I don't like is the smell doesn't last long. For this price, I would expect the smell to last atleast half a day. It's usually gone within the first couple hours.
