Great antenna!
We switched from a cable box and rabbit ears to the Rapio Antenna. I wish we would have done that much sooner! No more hick-ups in the reception. The antenna is sleek and a real space saver since it doesn't take up any room on the tv stand. Set up was very easy for our HDTV (if you have an older tv you will still need the cable box) simply plug in the usb amplifier, screw in the antenna cord and find a good spot for the actual antenna. The cord for the antenna is 12 feet long so we didn't have any trouble reaching the nearest window for the best reception. Once the antenna was hooked up we went into our tv menu and scanned for channels (see pictures). We are impressed with the picture quality and number of channels we receive. Nine is way better than none! Our previous set up only brought in three channels and the viewing was very erratic. We highly recommend the Rapio antenna for anyone trying to optimize the free channel line-up.

I now have local HDTV
I bought and received this HDTV indoor antenna and amplified a little over a week ago. Without this antenna I wasn’t able to get any local channels on my new UHD 4K TV. Since setting up the antenna, I now get about 50channels that I wasn’t able to previously. Since I use internet TV, local channels have been missing from the lineup. Now I get them all plus some.Setup was easy. It only took about four minutes to plug in the coax and usb power. Then I did a channel scan and now have more than 50 new channels to choose from. I would recommend buying this item if you don’t want to pay for basic cable and just need to get local channels.

Works great to watch all the local channels
Glad I finally purchased a TV antenna for the den. I was getting tired of bringing my antenna from my room out to the den when we had guests. The Rapio antenna has a small form factor and with the white color blends in well with my white wall. The antenna was able to pick up all the channels that I usually get and I did not have to move it around to get all the local channels. The cable is super long so you can mount it any where if you are not getting a good signal behind the TV or due to many interferences (i.e. many walls in the house). I did not have to use the signal booster so that is a plus because that means less wires.

It actually works... small, tiny powered antenna
One look and you think “no way” too lightweight and flimsy, BUT get it connected and powered and then run scan and it picks up channels. I live about 35 miles outside of town in the Texas Hill Country, needed to find something while I waited on my ISP to install lines. I receive about 30 of which 12 get a strong signal with no breakups, better than I expected in the hills and valleys. For the price for a powered antenna worth it...

Very good antenna but a bit fragile.
It worked wonderfully right out of the box. I've had this for a little over a year now and the only downside is that the wires that were soldered to the back have broken off over time as the cord moved back and forth from a curtain near it. I'm buying a new one, so it's life in my home was about a year. This time maybe I can place it to where nothing moves the cord and it will live longer.

I like it
I like it a lot, i used to have amazon basic antenna, which was doing the job, this unit however have better reception and it can operates on the usb outlet from the TV (my Sony is very old 2008) HD channels are clear when there is a good signal, after all or most antennae is as good as the nearness of your location to the signal!I would recommend this unit. Good luck hunting.

Realistic expectations are key. Pretty amazing quality for such a simple, classy, antenna!
As long as you lower your expectations of having instant cable with 80 channels, you'll be pretty satisfied with this antenna. The unit comes with a flat, square antenna about the thickness of a manilla folder and the size of a large napkin. I like the crisp, modern, white look - reminds me of an apple product. Setup is a breeze. Just connect the booster to the antenna and the cable & HDMI to the TV and you're ready to go. The crux is finding the best place in your room to pick up the greatest signal. We had hoped this would be as simple as lying the antenna flat on our TV stand. Nope. That resulted in 0 channels found during the channel scan (which you do through your TV channel setup - we chose an automatic scan which takes about 5-8 minutes.). We then moved it to the wall above the TV and peeled the stickers off the back of the antenna base to stick it to the wall. This resulted in 2 channels. Better, but still not ideal. When we went to move the antenna from the wall, it peeled off a good portion of the paint and drywall underneath. I won't blame the company for this one - I'm impressed with the adhesive they used and kicked myself for not predicting the possible damage when sticking it to drywall (use something different for mounting on your wall unless you intend it to be permanent.) We ended up having success mounting it to a nearby window. It immediately picked up 4 channels - CBS, ABC, and 2 PBS stations. This is equivalent to what our rabbit ears picked up before, but the quality was FAR better. The picture was definitely HD quality with no interference or fuzzy picture. It was a dream to watch! The reception will depend on where you live. We live in the middle of WY where reception in general is unpredictable (we have trouble with internet and cell signals regularly.) We didn't expect miracles and were delightfully surprised by the results, ease, and quality of this HDTV antenna. The company is pretty great too - answered some questions I had prior to buying with a quick, pleasant response. The only recommendation I would make is to adhere it to the wall with something besides the adhesive on the back. If you're using the window, the adhesive is removable. We would definitely purchase again!

Don't expect a miracle.
Not really an improvement over my current antenna. Still worth considering. works okay and for the price still probably a good deal.
