Worked as expected but died on dc
Ran fine on five 70 volt 117 watt panels but was only outputting 340 watts to the grid. Tried the 48 volt battery bank and adjusted 450 watts output for about 20 minutes watching for heat or anything else. No problem, left it alone for a while and when i returned, the power light was out and no output. Checked good voltage going in from battery bank. Not sure what happened but I hope it's not blown.I might need to work with a larger inverter as I see in the solar world, they appear to all be over rated at what they can really do. I do like the ability to run from a battery bank in this particular model but may need to go to the 1200 watt model to put out over 500 watts.

Does not work
I bought this because it said it worked with 48v battery. I have a Solar Array to Midnite Classic 150 to 48v battery bank to Inverter to automatic transfer switch. I use the Classic 150 controller to monitor shutoff battery/inverter when battery gets low (46v in my case) and turn on battery/inverter when battery is 50% charged (52v in my case). This unit worked the 1st day when I did on/off tests BUT STOPPED WORKING on day 2. After battery shutoff (unit when dark) and then the next day on battery turn-on... the unit will go thru green, blue, red and then settle on green flashing. No matter what I do - disconnect/reconnect battery or disconnect/reconnect 120v - it does green/blue/red cycle and then settles on green flashing - e.g. NO OUTPUT to grid. The question I asked on this page about restart after battery off/on was not answered properly - they just said will restart when battery reaches restart voltage ... whatever that is.Bottom line - this is a total bust for me.

Adj. SoyoSource Grid Inverter. So far its working.
installed on Sept 26, 2020 to a Very small PV system with 560W panels that feeds a 40A Epever Tracer AN charger (running at max input/output 16A/25A). Charger connect to 225Ah batteries that in turn feed the Soyosource Adjustable inverter. I keep the input of the Inverter at 4Amps. So I run 96Watt (2.3kwh) per day. I fused the input at 5A. I am well aware of over stating ratings. So everything I have is at least 50% derated. I picked this unit specifically so that I could throttle power to the Grid. One thing I wished was a little better was the sensitivity of the adjustment. I find that at lower amps it is difficult to dial in the Amps. I have not tried the unit as a MPPT inverter.
