SHURFLO(244-3926 Elbow Adapter

Works as advertised.

Replaced water pump on my 2005 itasca Meridian and I wanted to make sure all connections were new as well, so ordered these. Fit perfectly and 0 leaks with good water pressure. Would highly recommend if you think your connections are sucking air or leaking just a bit.

The product works well- but it does not fit 1/2” pex without first having to lightly torch the pex to soften the material. Then you cannot use the shark bite clamps, you must use adjustable hose clamps.Other than that- works fine

These were an exact replacement for my pump. I was a bit skeptical about ordering at first but I do not regret it now. Its been working perfect so far as well.

This is NOT an authentic SHURflo® brand part, it's a horrible fake that is not only obviously made of a thinner, sub-par material that so thin its nearly see-thru, but the entire shape and function of the barbed piece isn't the right size or shape. Even though I'm comparing the elbow attachment to a straight one, all SHURflo swivel nut attachments follow the same design structure. This includes a a white piece that fits correctly in the wing nut piece without any open gaps in between the pieces causing the white piece to wiggle and flop around. SHURflo parts fit securely together and have a collar on the white piece that holds the two pieces together securely and prevents the white piece from flopping around. The collar also keeps the white piece from falling inside the wing nut piece and helps prevents water from leaking where the pieces join. Also the structure of the barbed end of this one is completely different. The rim around the opening on SHURflo parts is smooth and slightly rounded inwards, has catches on the barb, and is thick, matte, opaque material. The barbed end on this one is a thin, almost transparent, slightly shiny material with only 2 catches that are so dramatic in pitch that the actual diameter is slightly too small and instead of being shallow pitches on the barb like on the shurflo, the barbs on this piece don't allow a secure seal inside the hose/tube because the tube really only comes in contact with the high points on the barb, which causes the barb to wiggle around and not create a closed, secure seal. I didn't bother finishing the entire setup to verify it would leak because it was obvious I'd be more likely to break the barb before I could tighten the hose clamp down tight enough to get a good solid seal. I'll just use the authentic SHURflo straight swivel adapter I have on hand I guess, since this was the only single "SHURflo" elbow adapter available on Amazon in this size.

Easy to tighten. At first I was leary because the fitting I was replacing had all sorts of washers and gaskets, but this sealed fine.Wish I could get the same fitting without the ears, to fit into a manifold.

Just what I needed to winterizing my camper I add a clear rubber line to it screw it on to the suction side of the pump run the antifreeze thru my water lines it takes about 2 gallons of rv winter anti freeze about 10 mins. Done. So this is prefect for my need .
