I bought a well-known UK brand steam mop some years ago and we did not become friends. In fact I hated it as I had to keep waiting (or pumping) for steam to be produced and cleaning would have taken forever if I hadn’t got rid of it ;-) A waste of money! My idea of a steam mop was to turn it on and it constantly produces hot steam without me losing the will to live.I came across this one and watched many YouTube videos as I had lost faith in steam cleaning. Not that I enjoy doing that but I wanted verification that it STEAMS, STEAMS, STEAMS!Well, if you are in doubt to invest in another household gadget that might not work: This one is absolutely fantastic!!- Ready in no time (as described less than a minute)- If turned off to change pads or so it is ready again in seconds- So powerful: constantly steams without the need to pump or do anything- Its 3 settings are well calibrated:* For my shiny porcelain tiles I use low or medium in order to avoid watermarks* For wood grain effect tiles I use medium* For wooden floors use 'low' (make sure to use a new dry pad that is not soaking) and it works a treat- It is very light and the cable is really long (though I put extensions cable on)- Sufficient tank size and easy to refill- Extra pads are quite expensive but worth itMy summary:This unit is a real work horse. I am able to clean 120smq + of differently tiled and wood floors in no time. No sweating, no swearing - I am over the moon. The triangular version is sufficient and really good to get into the corners.I got an extra set of the original pads, a cheap string sport bag for all pads, refill container and carpet unit. When cleaning I grab the 'steam- mop-miracle' in one hand, extension cable over the shoulder with the pad bag and off I go ;-) Cleaning has never been so easy.A little attachment for narrow areas would be great.Busy countryside home with dog and garden right at the front door step and this unit ticks all boxes for me: squeaking clean in no time and without heavy equipment or hard work :-)And, not to forget the price is a fraction of some brands; it has no useless frills /bits so that I am hopeful that it will do great work for me for a long time.

Easy to assemble and use , good on carpets and my cats bedding as well as for use on hard floors.

A good quality floor steamer, it’s very easy to clean your floor , with excellent results. Very light weight and easy to refill , ready to go again in seconds.It gives if the perfect amount of steam on the middle dial , but you can choose higher or lower depending on how dirty the floor is.The reason I have taken a star off is I wish the cable was longer so I could clean my floor without having to plug it in different sockets .

This thing's WILDLY better than the much more complicated Vax Steam Fresh it's replacing. Much much lighter, more straight forward and heating is ridiculously fast; I just used the carpet attachment to bring up some drips left over when the electrician replaced a heating element in the hot water system (so dirty wet drips probably with rust and corrosion dropped onto carpet) and it brought them up remarkably well.Does a brilliant job on my lino floor area and is light enough for me to use even with a serious lower back injury that makes lifting or standing for long immensely painful.Fold away is also simple and well designed, this does precisely what it says on the tin; highly recommended even over more expensive models.

Ok this is second one I have bought because honestly it’s the best one I’ve tried, it’s so powerful and consistent in the steam production. Have tiled and vinyl floor. You will never go back to mop and bucket.I even use the carpet glider to steam the carpets.The first one stopped working after year due to hard water build up. There’s no anti calc function sadly.I bought the karcher one to try and replace it immediately saw it’s not only more bulky and awkward and expensive but leaves streaky water everywhere as if it’s leaking, also the steam barely penetrates the pad!!Now I just buy distilled water to use in this, but a massive container lasts at least 6 months if not more. It’s well worth it.As this is a lower cost steam mop I think most people would have gone straight to more expensive version so never experienced how good this one it’s.Yes it’s pivoting head I think you need to be a bit careful with as it’s not a solid a design but if you take care of it, it does a great job. Have recommended many friends.

This is undoubtedly the best steam mop I've ever used. It does everything it claims to: heats up quickly, cleans both hard floors and carpets / rugs brilliantly, the rotating head means it gets right into corners and the long flex length means I don't have to swap sockets so frequently. It's also very light and not having to constantly depress the handle to generate steam means that it's easier to use and I don't get cramp in my hand. Honestly can't fault it.

I bought this because of the good reviews. I have previously had a VAX that was £129. This Vileda is far more superior. It has a really nice handle that you can hold nicely and it’s comfortable. Hits up very quickly andhas a large mop head that really does do great. It also has a swivel head so he can get right into the nooks and crannies. Well done on a really good piece of kit highly recommend.
