Does this strip work with a curved screen monitor?

I’ve got a 34” curved ultrawide. Works great at syncing the lighting. However, the brackets kept falling off. I got some command strips and done away with the corner brackets and it works great.

Would this work okay on a Samsung Curved G7 odyssey?

It’ll work on any monitor. HOWEVER the adhesive pads that come with this are very temperamental, so with a curved monitor I would get some strong adhesive double sided tape to put on the adhesive brackets that come in the box. Also ensure that you CLEAN the back of your monitor with a mix of water and isopropyl alcohol so all the oils and dust are fully cleaned away to allow for proper adhesion. It’s a pain yes, but it’s worth it imo

Does it require the hdmi sync box, if connected to a 65” Samsung?

Depends if you have a TV. Yes. If you use it with your PC as monitor you only need the Hue desktop app to sync it with.

How does it sync with the colours of your monitor?

You install Hue software on you PC which allows it to see what’s on your screen essentially and then syncs the lights to it. That’s the non technical answer.
