What a great way to make that old fireplace insert smart
I was able to use my original insert!! Just pulled off the old valve manifold and replaced with this kit. Now i can tell Alexa to turn the fireplace on and off. And best of all, no hissing pilot light. This thing only runs gas on demand so there is no standing pilot making constant noise. Best investment for the house in a long time. Now I don't gripe when my spouse asks me to put on the romantic fire. :-) . Just ask Alexa!
