Must have for paranoid parents
While it does disconnect at times, I find that it works well enough to not remove a star. I had febrile seizures, and am terrified of that for my children, so Im slightly fever paranoid. It doesn't help that my kids go from normal temp to 105 in under an hour, every time. I bought new batteries for it, and a second thermometer, just in case both kids are sick at the same time. I removed the battery after every use, and got several uses out of the original! Definitely would recommend, and have!!!

Disconnecting and turning off
Keeps disconnecting from the app and turning off. To reconnect you have to take the device off the child. Which was our whole reason for buying it was to use at night. So it was not useful for us. We returned it. We did try a new battery and no change.

I love this thermometer
I love this thermometer. It is off slightly from my ear thermometer but not by much. Has the best range on distance that I've tried! It's simple but it does everything I need it to well! We had a week of high fevers and this was amazing!
