Good Budget headset
I bought this to replace the wireless razer headset I have been using for years that finally wore out on me.I like this headset. I find it comfortable, not too tight on my head but more importantly not too loose. It stays on and doesn't shift around.Sound quality is good. A little quiet compaired to my old one but I turned up the volume on the xbox audio settings and it was fine. It might not meet the some peoples extremely high standards but it sounds clear, no crackling or static or anything like that.Mic seems decent too. Asked my friends after I got it set up and they said they couldn't notice much of a change in voice quality from my old headset which always got praise for not being static/echo prone. All in all, for what I paid I am definitly happy. This is a solid budget headset for general gaming purposes. May not be on par to the top brands on some aspects but I would expect it to be hard to find one better than this at this price.

Great headset for the blind!
Note: I am plugging this headset into the HyperX Amp USB Sound Card (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GW1SHSN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1).This replaces the original Cloud Stinger I purchased back in April 2020, which came bundled with the above sound card accessory, so that was the only way I ever used the original headset. However, the right earpad finally gave around the very edge of the rim of the earcup so the pad would no longer stay securely in place. It didn't appear it would be that easy to replace one or both earpads, so I replaced with this updated (2) model of the Cloud Stinger. Two things I mmediately like about this headset are the volume wheel and the more standard "wire" arm microphone. The original Cloud Stinger headset had a volume slider I was almost constantly accidentally moving, and the microphone arm, while flexible to a degree, did not behave like the more traditional "wire" style which offers more flexibility in positioning the microphone. In terms of sound quality, plugged into the same above sound card as the original, I can't really hear any difference, which is good. I was satisfied with the original sound. Perhaps replacement earpads would have been cheaper, but for gaining a volume wheel and the more flexible "wire" microphone arm, this purchase was worth not having to deal with the hassle of trying to get new earpads anchored. Short of buying new earpads direct from HyperX, I wouldn't trust I was getting equivalent replacements anyway. Overall, probably as cheap and easier to just buy a new headset than replacing earpads.I will conclude by mentioning that as a totally blind computer user, I wear this headset on average about 10 hours every day for use with my screen reader, and the comfort of this thing is INSANE! I have been told the microphone sound quality is great during Zoom calls, so this would probably be a great buy for anyone doing lots of calls.I bought for comfort and the fact it folds so can fit in a bag if I need to take with me out and about. The microphone muting and unmuting simply by swinging it up out of the way (mute) or down (unmuted) is a nice touch. A bit more difficult with this "wire" arm, but not impossible if one simply grabs the plastic part of the arm where it joins the headset. Probably overall better than grabbing the arm itself anyway; just tried it and can flip it up and down with one finger without issues.I can't report on the DTS:X since I don't use it for that sort of enhanced audio as would exist in gaming.

Good sound quality
I have this product for about a year now. I didn't use it for some time, but once I got a new PC I used it almost everyday. The noise canceling is great, I usually have to take them off to hear my boyfriend talking to me in the same room. The mic isn't a boom, but it works for me. I did have to adjust my mic settings on discord so my friend's could hear me.A flaw I have had happen is the left ear piece stopped producing noise. I was reading the reviews and questions here, and they said you could contact the HyperX customer support about the two year warranty. I spoke to them, and had to send in a video and some pictures, and they shipped me out a new headset the same day and should be here tomorrow.I am giving four stars instead of five, just because I feel the headphones should last me longer than a year. The customer service was great and very quick to come up with a solution.I would recommend buying these. (The warranty is valid if the seller is Amazon or off the HyperX website.)

Right side stopped functioning properly after a couple of months.
Something happened, probably a circuitry defect, and now the right side constantly loses sound or has reduced sound. If I tap it a little bit it can temporarily work again but it goes out every few minutes or even more. Usually I enjoy HyperX products... but since they have all their products made in China I'm not surprised there's issues with quality consistency. Cost of getting a cheaper product. Most of the time it's fine -- but you're always risking a lemon.I've not had much luck with headphones (even my expensive $500 set had cheap plastic on one part that broke which results in one side just flopping without any stability. Due to how there was a metal piece tightly jammed at that section and how the headphone was designed to retract/expand it's almost impossible to fix. It just slides too easily preventing anything stable. Even when fully taped it eventually loses the proper angle and goes back to feeling incredibly uncomfortable even if usable. Still going to try to figure out something (since it was so expensive)... but I regret my purchase. Rather have spent half that and gotten something better built. Tbh the sound quality was worse than a $100 wired headphone I had.But lemons in general get at most 3 stars for me. Just a waste of money.
