We have an especially dusty area of our home, and this unit helps reduce that dust problem significantly. That said, that's not why we purchased this unit. My husband ordered it when chemicals and/or mold chased me out of my home. I'm not certain how much this unit has to do with my ability to move home since we also used a cleaner that supposedly deals with allergens, including mold, and the cleaner worked to make other rooms safe for me without the aid of the unit (see my other reviews for details?), BUT, I am so glad we have this unit anyway. It has helped reduce the struggle with our unusually dusty area to a simple process: plug in unit, turn it on high when I'm doing chores in other rooms, pick up the (heavy) unit and blast the rough surfaces in the area, set the unit down; watch as the sunbeams coming through the window clearly show the dust flowing from behind the unit to the intake of the unit, so learn to face the blower of the unit towards the nearest wall, and repeat; move the unit to another area only after the first area has few dust bits flying about in the sunbeams after blasting the surrounding rough areas with the unit's blower yet again. Repeat for a couple of days. Repeat on the third day and stand in awe of the fact that hardly any dust is dancing in the sunbeams! Gotta love it! I still hand dust our rock walls by hand at times, but in between times, this unit makes sanity easy where sanity was a challenge..... (Yes, two days does the trick, even if the next week the dust in that area of our home might be suprisingly thick again. Not usually as thick as before, unless we just pulled a bunch of stuff from the attic for Christmas or something..... So *****usually***** not as thick, since we rarely pull things down from the attic, but still surprisingly thick every week. I'll try to post again if this unit gets the dust down to normal levels and day..........)

I’m a normal non-professional guy who likes to attempt to do work myself.Spent a long time researching. When choosing AOTA rubbers, the price of filters is the key component. This has 2 washable filters, really three if you don’t mind taking time to wash the carbon filter. All filters are cheap to replace. A LOT cheaper than other scrubbers.Worked great. Removed plaster dust and rotten wood dust from my 100year old basement.

Product worked great - really scrubs the air as described. Unfortunately - it gets pretty loud when running on max speed.

We are using this to help clean the air during asbestos abatement. It’s a great tool along with our other hazmat safety items. We’ve run it for weeks at a time with no issues.The filter change lite still hasn’t come on yet, but we’ve cleaned the outside filters with an abatement vac.

I just received the unit, plugged it in, and turned it on. No response. Tried different power outlets. Still nothing. How did a unit that will not even turn on make its way all the way to the customer? My rating is 0, and this should be split between XPOWER and AMAZON (who shipped it to me).UPDATE: I returned the defective unit and bought a second unit, and this one is working as expected. The air flowing out appears stronger than the air flowing in, however, as I don't see strong suction of particles as I do with a vacuum cleaner. This is confusing, since I expected the two (in and out) to be equal in power, unless it's possible for air to flow in through some other opening.

We bought this when we did our own mold remediation in our basement. It was such a better decision to go ahead and buy this model as opposed to renting one. It’s nice to have to also just do a quick air cleaning when things feel stale or musty. Worked perfectly well. Great purchase.

It’s a bit noisy , however it does what it’s supposed to do for the air quality in my condo ! Easy to clean filters also ! Lightweight easy to move around !
