Sawdust City Solid Wood Hall Bookcase (Unfinished Pine)

This bookcase with solid wood. Very good Construction. Wish that they had more items like this.

I purchased the Sawdust City Solid Wood Hall Bookcase (Butternut Stain). Shipped in two separate containers, one containing the main body and the second contained the top and bottom overlay sections. These containers provided excellent protection from any potential shipping damage. All hardware was included; you have to attach the top and bottom overlay pieces with screws (Phillips head screws). Also included are wood plugs to cover screw holes on the top (there are couple extra in case you damage one). I would suggest that when tapping in these plugs to place a piece of cardboard between the plug and the hammer and tap softly, this will prevent damage to the plug and the surrounding wood surface.I am quite impressed with the quality and sturdiness of this solid wood bookcase. Even the back is type of veneer. All surfaces are nicely finished. HOWEVER, be warned - the shelves or small in height, most hard cover and larger books will not fit in upright.

Great solid wood piece. You do have to screw in the top and bottom wood piece and insert wood plugs into the screw holes on the top. I think I may have put too much pressure on the hammer for the wood plugs (slightly dented look). So, just make sure you don't hit them too hard. Otherwise, it's lovely!

Fantastic company -- delivered with a little extra gift, and all the details thought out. I had no problems putting it together. The bookshelf is great, solid and lovely. Will buy again next time I need a bookshelf (which may be soon). And the company has a hometown, personal feeling that's missing from most companies today. Definitely worth the money! Thank you!

very sturdy, all wood

Love this - quality product, designed, produced and packed with much care. MADE IN AMERICA. Came when expected, was exactly as expected, and if I can do it anyone can. Way better than all the prefab - no off -gassing , etc. Looks beautiful in the room and perfect for my spot.

Excellent bookshelf. Well constructed, sturdy. Easy to assemble (attach top and bottom w/screws). All wood, no particle board!!! We needed a narrow bookshelf and this fit the bill. Happy customer.

Great customer service, too. I needed more push-in tabs to cover the screw holes, emailed the company, and had a fresh set in my mailbox within a week. Shipping was faster than stated window.
