Seemed like I needed at the time.
I bought these to augment my exercise routine. They worked well when I used them. Glad to have them now sitting on the floor of my closet. Hope to pick them up again soon.

Good First Impression & Addition To Workout
I purchased the REEHUT Ankle Weights Set (2x 5lbs) to replace a 12 year old set of Everlast ankle weights that have started to leak their sand filling. The weights were delivered on time & in good condition. On the box is an email address for customer support if needed ([email protected]). The stitching looked good on the pair I received, but the thread does not appear to be very heavy. Time will tell how they’ll hold up. If the stitching fails, I will be sure to update this review. The hook & loop attachment is generous & strong. These are the largest set of weights in the set & fit my ankles well (see pics). I wear a size US M 9.5. If you have an issue where they are not snug enough or you want more cushion, you could wear a pair wristbands underneath them. I’ve now had the opportunity to wear the ankle weights during 3 separate workouts. One workout I wore them for 2 hours & the other 2 workouts for 1-1/2 hours each. During these workouts I wore them while walking on an inclined treadmill, on my Max Trainer (elliptical/stepper), performing leg/knee raises/lifts/kicks, band & body weight work, strength & weight training w/dumbbells & kettlebells. During all these exercises & movements, the ankle weights were secure & comfortable. Shifting was minimal & I never had to adjust the hook & loop or fit.If you’re going to wear these on a treadmill, I’d recommend starting the treadmill flat (no incline) & much slower than you would normally walk & increase the speed in very small increments. As for wearing the ankle weights while performing sit-ups, if you wedge/brace your feet/ankles behind/under an object/bar & the ankle weights make contact w/them, I would advise against it to avoid unnecessary wear & tear. I would most definitely say not to wear these while riding any bike (indoor, outdoor, spin, recumbent etc), not just for safety on those requiring balance, but for unnecessary damage to the ankle weights as well. Some of the pics I’ve seen of small holes in ankle weights look like this kind of damage to me. The corners & bulging parts of the ankle weights will rub against the bikes crank arms while peddling & wear holes in them quickly. As I use these in the future, I’ll take note of any issues I may experience w/them & update this review.Thank you for taking the time to read my review, I hope you found it helpful.

Straps bite into skin
These are great with heavy socks or when wearing sneakers that can support the weight but when using them barefoot for Pilates or walking long distances, the straps start to bite into my skin. I’ve tried orientating them different ways, but that just moves the hot spot around. Quality is good, just wish they were more comfortable.

Meets Expectations
The Reehut ankle weights were purchased after sending back another pair that kept sliding down my ankle. Admittedly 5lb weights are not easy to put on, but the Reehuts are a bit easier. I think the Velcro straps are longer allowing for a better hold. The inside fabric does stay against the skin better and with the better hold the weights are not sliding down..A con: the five weights are completely sewed in, not removable, but that is ok for me as 5lbs was recommended by my physical therapist.

Great product. Perfect amount of weight for a child at .5 lb each.
I bought these for my 6 year old daughter. She has autism and she loves feeling weighed down. It’s calming for her. These are perfect. She’s super happy.

while being more comfortable and easier to keep in place by far
I purchased these and a pair of Everlast ankle weights at the same time, to compare. I gave the Everlast weights 2/5 stars. I give these 3/5 stars.Everlast, while being more comfortable and easier to keep in place by far, began to leak material, taking it down from 5 stars to 2. I want weights to feel easier to use over time because I am getting stronger, not because they're losing material...I used the Reehut weights on both my wrists and ankles. They don't seem to leak (will update if this changes), but my god are these uncomfortable things. Unlike the Everlast weights, these don't stay in place and kind of hurt to wear on wrists and ankles, due to the tension being constricted at the band point as opposed to spread out over the entire piece of fabric. This may be because I have skinny wrists and ankles, but the pinching and the tension seriously distracted from my running and left bruises on my lower shins. Ouch. They seem sturdy enough, so if you're jogging in the winter, maybe wrap a thick sock around your ankle inside the weight... if you can tolerate it. No way I could wear these against skin or thin socks. I have the bruises to prove it. :(This sounds negative, but since I didn't rule out buying a higher weight value in the future, and they don't seem defective... I give them 3/5 stars.

Great product!
I use these weights during my cardio workout. I have limited physical mobility and rheumatoid arthritis so they work perfectly for the workouts I do. For me, they are pretty simple to get on even though the RA has slightly damaged the joints in my hands. It takes me a little longer but I have no major issues. Ultimately, no matter what fitness level you are at, these weights are great. I have a pair of 8 lb weights(4lb each that is) and they are the perfect substitute for the dumbbells. Give them a try because for the price, I think they are a great buy!!

Meh
Considering it’s next to impossible to find actual dumbbells during this pandemic, these weights aren’t too bad. I don’t think I’ll be able to use them on walks though. Looking at pictures I genuinely don’t know how people are able to wrap these things so well around their wrists and or ankles. If I tried to walk with these on I’m pretty sure they’d fall off at some point but that could just be because I bought the 5lb ones and my ankles are barely not small enough. These are just a bit difficult to wrap around. However I will say that they’re still useable. I’ll probably just use them for indoor workouts. The spots with the weighted sand are actually quite puffy and large which I think makes this a bit awkward to wrap around. Still a great product though!!! Highly recommend if you’re looking for weights in a pinch.

Excellent Knee Weights
I underwent a left knee replacement sugery. As part of my home theraphy, I needed weights to put on top of my knee to straigthen it. I used two Reehut Ankle Weights Wrist Weight (5lbs+5lbs). The two weights remained in place during the duration of the theraphy., and are comfortable to use.
