They are hard to put on. They post do not slip right in as they should, I've had to bend them in order to get them to fit properly. And yet it still is hard to put them on.

You really don't get exactly how sparkly these earrings are from the picture. They look great. You do have to take care when connecting the back portion to the front. The stud part of the earring tends to slip around the back locking portion. When you get the earring locked on you can adjust the tightness some what by squeezing the earring or gently pulling on the back.
