used as a replacement in my harman stove. quiet and works great

every year i take apart and clean my harmon pellet heater , last summr (2023) i checked all moters on it with a amp meter ,and when i did i noted that te combustion blower was borderline ( not bad but not great) the amps it pulled was slightly high so i decided to use it for another year but bought this motor as a replacement just in case . about mid Jan. the old motor quit and i replaced it with this one . this motor fit perfectly and ran fine , then about 3 weeks ago i noticed when it shut down i would hear a little dinging sound so i checked and found this motor has an excessive amout of run out . after this year i will only be using the heater as a back up for the propane heating system i will be installing this summer . so just know this motor does have quite a bit of run out before you buy it . other than that its a good little motor for the price

This is a direct replacement for the factory combustion motor on the Harman 68+ pellet stove. You’ll need a 1/8” Allen wrench to remove the fan. If you replace the fan, which is recommended, you’ll need a star bit to tighten the set screw. Replacement of the motor was a breeze. The operation of the motor is super quiet and absolutely no noise or vibration. I highly recommend this.

No problems at all!

After having the original motor failed, I installed this one. The old motor must have been going bad for some time. I thought I was having problems with a weak igniter also as the stove took 15minutes or more to start and sometimes failed. This started last winter. I installed this motor, and the stove is running like new again. I have come to the conclusion that I was not getting enough air flow from the old motor. I am very happy with this purchase.

Installation was fairly straight-forward, but the cord was a little shorter than the original part. To address, I let some slack out on the connection side and zip tied further up behind the stove while routing where the previous cable ran.During installation, I would recommend starting the process with the set screw and the fan as set screws are famous for seizing up. If you can't get the set screw out, there's no point in undoing the mounting screws, etc. for the motor. My set screw was seized. I used heat, and penetrating oil to get mine to finally let go.The motor is very quiet! I barely notice the stove is on!

This was a breeze to install. Other than the slightly impeller on the original motor, this popped right in plugged in, and we were good to go. I went from blasting the TV to hear over the loud noise of the original Harman motor to barely even realizing the stove is running.

This is the right part to keep my Harman Pellet running at top performance. Local stove shop wanted almost double the price! Delivered in one day too!
