The case is made of multiple stacked pieces of transparent acrylic with foam under the top plate. The PCB has a curve to it, but flattens out when screwed in to the case. There are flimsy areas where the acrylic bends inward from the top/bottom side, but is unnoticeable when resting your hands on the keyboard. You'll be resting your right pinky on the Enter key as it's now part of home row. There's an area on the back that you can unscrew to access a space that I assume is for adding a plate. There are also RGB LEDs that line up behind the PCB and shines through the frosted acrylic backWeird things about the keyboard that you'll need to watch out for when buying keycapsYou need 71 switchesL shift 2.25U is too big- requires a 2.0U keycapRequires small Fn keyRequires a 2.25U spacebar + 2.75U spacebarNo R shiftNo colon/semi-colonNo brackets

Pleasing to look at
The astetics are nice. The design is cute. The keys however are not so nice to try and figure out. Having to order a whole new set of key caps is a headache I couldn't even figure out which ones I should get, can we just have a page or a tab I could click on where it says these key caps are compatible with this device??

Layout
Actually very cute and cute, but the layout isn’t that great, in a few spaces (especially the outer side of the number pad) regular caps don’t fit and get stuckEdit: found some nicely fitting keycaps

beyond disappointed
i just got into mechanical keyboards and modding them. I wanted to do one using barebones. However, this severely was a waste of my 2 hours in total. One hour to put the switches and keycaps, and another to only having to remove them finding out that the delete button at the end does not work. + sign does not work and the numbers at the right side. It’s so weird to type on with 2 space bars. I was so excited when I ordered this Epomaker Mini Cat 69 specifically as I wanted to use it for work especially working with numbers. This was a sore disappointment. It is best to purchase one with the keycaps and switches on. As much fun as I thought it would be putting in my own switches from the get go, this was just a complete waste of my time.Another weird thing, is there are 2 small space bars at the end which you cannot find a lot of keycaps on. Luckily, I had pudding white keycaps on hand and was able to find it to match. I even purchased the Yunzii cat keycaps in pink translucent to match the cat theme but oh no, what a waste of my time. DO NOT ORDER. I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL.
