The bundle that turned my voice into velvet.
I bought the Elgato XLR Microphone Complete Bundle because my old setup made me sound like I was broadcasting from a potato. I needed something that could make my voice sound as smooth as butter on toast. This bundle is like the Avengers of audio equipment. The Wave DX Microphone captures every nuance of my voice, the Wave XLR Interface adds clarity and depth, and the Wave Mic Arm LP holds everything steady like a professional. It's like having a personal sound engineer in a box.Setting it up was easier than I expected. I plugged everything in, adjusted a few settings, and voila—I sounded like a radio DJ. The sound quality is crisp, clear, and rich, making my podcasts and streams sound top-notch.The best part? The Wave XLR Interface has a capacitive mute button, so I can silence myself with a simple tap—perfect for those unexpected coughs or sneezes. If you're looking to upgrade your audio game and make your voice sound like it belongs on a professional recording, the Elgato XLR Microphone Complete Bundle is your golden ticket. brilliant mic, best i have ever used
fantastic mic, brought alongside the wave xlr is flawless, picks up sounds from a good way away and sounds super clear, plug and play, don't need to be a sound engineer to get it setup either!

Another great product from elgato and this Mic is fantastic!!!
I have a handful of elgato products and this mic is definitely up there with some of the best mic out in the industry right now especially for its price point. It’s a straight forward plug and play mic. Paired with my GoXlr audio interface it works great, I tuned and tweaked all of my mic settings in the goxlr app on my pc so it sounds nice and clear. I have it with the elgato mic arm too, and both paired together are a perfect match!!

High quality for price
Given this is somewhat cheap in the world of XLR mics the quality is very high level. As with all XLR mics you will need an interface box but you can't hold that against the mic itself. Very clear and crisp sounds. Paired with the wave desktop app and the EQ on that it's clearly head and shoulders better than anything else on the market in the same price range.

Nice - with 2 niggles...
Niiice - def has that radio announcer SM7 vibe .. However1- Like an SM7, its a 'quiet' Low Output mic - A few inches from your face, most any XLR in should handle it - a foot or so you SHOULD be ok, with anything of reasonable quality - but given the wide pickup pattern, if you want to place it a few feet from you / your guests, you GOTTA have a quality high gain preamp soz not to hit the 'noise floor', aka background hisss!-update- others say this IS louder than an SM7 - but "no signal booster required" is kinda dependent on use case2- the built in pop filter seems to work a treat - internal vib'n damping, not so much - I wouldn't recommand using it straight on a boom arm like in the picture, or attach it straight to your desk. Whatever stand or mount you use this guy could use SOME form of shock mount or rubbery damping3- After going thru every noise source in the room, shutting down the PC's STILL an irritating lil buzz of .. INDUCTION hum - I tracked this down to a cheapo laptop charger, but you could get issues like this with cheapo (and not so cheapo?) Monitors and other hardware, so positioning carefully whilst listening on headphones is recommended (the SM7 has an internal anti induction coil - but for an SM7 PRICE)After dealing with the little issues, this is a sweet mic, and I'm glad i got it - if your serious about podcasting you gotta move stuff around to avoid acoustic and electrical noise anyhows, and one thing this guy has over the TC Helicon is its wide pickup angle - now I've got my head round it, its great, but DO bear in mind you always gotta work a bit to set things up nice, for your bedroom podcasting studio

Excellent mic, you just can’t go wrong with this one.
I purchased this mic after watching a review comparing it to other mics. That review included lots of other very popular mics, including the wonderful SM7B mic, which unfortunately was out of my price range. After hearing the output of the Wave DX, I knew I just had to get it so I put a bit aside and managed to get it soon afterwards. I wasn’t disappointed. The sound quality is amazing for this price point and actually gives the SM7B a run for its money. And that’s not just me saying it, I hooked it up with one to compare it with a local friend who had one and we found it difficult to tell the difference. So for podcasts or streaming, I’d highly recommend it.

Great beginner first XLR mic
This is easily one of the better priced and easy to use XLR mics especially paired with other El Gato gear. As someone who needed a better quality mic and the only other options being USB mics (which let's face it, don't hold up to a decent XLR mix) this was by far the better option within a budget.

From the Goxlr to a wave xlr
My original set up was the goxlr mini with a shure mic, i never had the audio quality that i was happy with, moved to the elgato xlr and what a difference, absolutly fantastic i can now game on discord with the lads and its mint quality, and stream to twitch and again the quality is awesome
