This rug is very nice but not as brightly colored as in the photo. Still nice for the money.

The pattern and color tones are better than the photos. The size (7' round rug) is just right for my small room (7' round rug).The negative aspect of the rug is that it is very thin and the edges do not rest on the floor. I purchased a rug pad primarily to keep the rug from slipping on the hardwood floor, so it is less than a 1/4 inch thick. I had to cut the pad with scissors from an 8' pad (which was 7.6 feet across), leaving a 2-inch overlap of the rug to the pad. The edge of the rug "floats" above the floor about 1/8". I have concluded that the rug is not heavy enough to lie on the floor. Had this been a rug with corners, it would have presented a tripping hazard. Since it is round, I'm less likely to trip on it, as my dining table is centered on it and I don't walk onto the carpet. I didn't want to use a thick carpet under the dining table and chairs, so the situation is OK. The rug was delivered rolled tightly in a plastic wrap, so it took several days of being held flat with weights before I could install it on its pad.

I also bought the 5’x7’ matching carpet with this runner. Both have really exceeded my expectations! I’ve been sick enough to be stuck in the house since September and I’ve been slowly redecorating since that time. There is definitely a learning curve to purchasing rugs online. Lol However, it’s well worth it to have such a dizzying array of styles to choose from. Best part has to be the prices! This amazing, Victorian era rendition of a Persian rug is quite attractive, yet simple and easy to care for. It’s color combination, true to its era, is still popular today and is an easy choice, so long as it’s not blowing my small budget. Seems like yesterday, before internet period, I’d be walking through housewares, spot a rug similar to this one, only to be let down by the more than triple price tag. So I am very thrilled to have a good set, at a reasonable price, that really compliments my new Sofa and Loveseat. Thank you Amazon for helping me stay sane these last 11 months, and counting! Lol!

I was really hoping this would be a thicker rug. It came up as medium or high pile, but it is definitely not. The pile is very low. Because of this, we were disappointed. We do like the dark academia look though. It has a much more aged vintage look than pictured, and the rug has kind of grown on us.

Nice looking rug… color and pattern perfect for my living room.Extremely unhappy with the company however. I ordered the wrong size first, and cancelled it within 5-10 minutes. They wouldn’t accept my cancellation even though I ordered the right size right after cancellation of the wrong size. Fortunately, I was able to return the smaller rug right away, but what a waste of time and energy for everyone concerned.

Carpet arrived in a timely manner. Was folded and rolled but after a few days it settled down nicely. Excellent carpet so far. I cannot attest to it's stain resistance as I have not spilled anything on it yet. It does however stand up to a 140lb Great Pyrenees and a 120lb German Shepherd.
