The WL550 sealer was easy to apply and gave color enhancement just like we had hoped for. Our stone doesn’t look dry and dusty anymore. It also seems to keep moisture and water from penetrating and it is not slippery. I pressure washed first then I applied it 3 days later to a 900sf flagstone/mortar walkway and retaining wall with a cheap pump sprayer. I used 6 gallons and it seemed to give a good uniform coverage rate with consistent color and appearance. I though I might need a second coat but after letting dry for a couple of days I realized I didn’t. It’s been almost a month and I’ve had no issues, I believe it’s a good quality product. It does have a fairly strong odor when applying but not overpowering. I would recommend and I’ll buy again when needed.

I have used this Armour WL550 product in the past and was pleased with its ease of application, level of protection, final look, and long-lasting protection. I used it on both my pool deck pavers and my house's brick siding. The water no longer penetrated the pavers or brick; it beaded up and dried much more quickly. This has slowed down or eliminated the mold and algae that we were getting during the hot, humid Florida summer.

Product arrive very quickly. I was skeptical that 5 gallons would be enough to cover 600 sf of pavers. I was wrong. It was plenty for the first coat but not enough for a second coat. The sealer is thin and clear like water and does have a bit of an odor but it is solvent based after all so that it be expected. I used a regular roller and it went on super easy and dried quickly leaving behind a satin type finish. This product did darken the pavers (which was the desired result). I could probably get away with the one coat but the patio hasn't been sealed in many years so I'm planning on spraying the second coat so I ordered another five gallons of the same stuff. I've used their water based sealers in the past which were also easy to use and durable but wanted to give the patio some depth of color and this stuff did the trick. Great product. Not only is it functional in protecting my flagstone patio, aesthetically it enhances the look with a very subtle wet look. Water puddles up on the floor as seen on the patio and gives one the feeling of "slippery floors" but that's actually not the case. It was easy to apply with a hand sprayer but i had to get a second container and used 2 full containers which i wasn't happy about initially. If this last the 5 years as advertised, or even half that timeframe, it will most def. be worth well over the $500 I spent :) I would definitely recommend and use again.

Just built a stone and brick fireplace for my back patio. The stone was kinda dull looking so I wanted something that would make it pop with color. After doing some research I found this online and decided to try it out. It was a little pricey because I bought a five gallon bucket not knowing how much I would need. It definitely goes a long way! I was able to do the whole thing with one gallon. I can’t wait to finish laying the bricks and stone back around my pool so I can seal it too. Also I am having a big brick and stone water fountain installed so I’ll add more pics when everything else is done. I really like how it makes the color of the stone “pop” after it dries. It doesn’t give it a wet look when it dries, but makes the color stand out. I definitely recommend this product if you’re looking for something to get to seal your concrete, brick, or stone. It works!!!

After considerable research, I went all in on this product. I purchased 8 gallons of the product ($460; one 5-gallon drum and three 1-gallon bottles across different retailers), the special Foundation Armor sprayer ($170), read all the information on the Foundation Armor web site and watched all the relevant videos to learn how to use the product. I must say that the information on the web site is quite good. I was convinced that I made a good choice that was worth the total cost of $630 that I spent on the product and sprayer. I power washed my pavers and allowed them to dry over 3 days and applied per the instructions with the special sprayer. After seeing that the first coat wasn’t giving the “wet look” as promised, I did a double coat on all surfaces per the instructions. Thus, the need for 8 gallons of the product. As you can see from the attached pictures, I did not get the “wet look” I was looking for, and after about 2 months, it did not seem like the “sealant” was repelling water on the pavers. Others may have had success, but I did everything directed by the company and applied more than enough product for this to work. You can make your own choices, but I would warn anyone against purchasing Armor WL550 Deep Penetrating Solvent-Based Matte Wet Look. Perhaps their other products work better, but this product did nothing that was promised. Next time I’ll hire a professional.

Super easy to apply. I chose to use a painters pole with a roller to apply and it was super easy to apply to our flagstone under our pergola, around our fire pit as well as our pavers that surround our hot tub. It brought out a beautiful wet look and enhanced their colors as well as being a water repellent when it rains. I went out after the first rain and saw something I had never seen before and this was the water beading on the stone instead of sinking in. This will preserve our flagstone for a long time. I have tried other products that leave a film on the surface, but this looks all natural! Excellent product. I used a 5 gal bucket for our area of about 700 sq ft and still had a little left over.

Second time we've used this sealer for our stone patio. Easy application with a sprayer, great product!
