I have really reduced the amount of ziplocs I use after just a couple weeks, but it let's air in so by lunch some food becomes stale. Mainly use it for dry food such as nuts and chips. I have tried washing in both the washing machine and dishwasher, both work, but I switched to dishwasher only lately to reduce soap smell. I have to make sure soap residue / strong smell isn't on the bag because it transfers to the food, especially damp food like sliced apples, which after one bite felt like detergent was in my mouth. I think it occurred from my washing machine leaving soap residue due to the small amount of water it uses, but I could probably fix that with a second rinse cycle. I might switch to quick hand wash with dawn where harsh soap won't be used to fix that problem. Overall very helpful though.

Not silicon, these feel like a silky, plastic coated fabric but in a good way. Easy to use and clean, have not stained though I mostly use for dry snacks. No yucky chemical smells either. Would buy again!

I love these little bags for dry snacks. I have been using these for my sons lunch for about a month now and I have no complaints. With COVID guidelines my daycare decided or had to stop serving snacks which meant mama had to pack more. I didnt want to constantly buy little plastic bags so tried these out. They are great for snacks like gold fish , chex mix, or chips. Not sure how they would do with anything that is wet and they are in a lunch box with an ice pack so everything stays fresh. I would assume if this was in my bag for a day or two it probably wouldnt keep things from going stale since it is just a zipper but have not tested it. At the end of the day, I turn it inside out, rinse off crumbs and let is sit to dry, super easy and they are ready the next days or can be easily dried to refill. I bought more for my daughter when she goes back too.

These things are DURABLE. My Australian Shepherd has a big problem with eating everything he can get his paws on, and trust me if he can smell food, he’s getting it. My kiddo left his backpack with snacks in it within the dog’s reach. The dog managed to get the backpack open, but not the snack bag. When I found him I thought he looked guilty, but quickly found out it was a look a of defeat. The bag wasn’t even snagged.For those of you that don’t have destructive puppers, these snack bags are still great. I love that I can just throw them in the dishwasher, they’re the perfect size for a snack, and I’m happy to not be adding to unnecessary plastic waste by using disposable snack bags.

I like these little bags to pack snacks for the kids! I wouldn’t say they’re great for just tossing pretzels in it as it will get smashed in the bag and it’s hard to get the tiny crumbs out of the corners. I pack cliff bars and packaged cheese crackers as I won’t have to be concerned about freshness These bags are also useful for toiletries and odds and ends too.

I bought these for my son to take his lunch to preschool. I pack a sandwich in one and pretzels or chips in the other. Like others have commented, things will go stale in these bags if left in them for very long (as we found out after he didn't eat his pretzels in three days; when he did try to eat them they were stale and very hard). Each night when we get home, I hand wash the bags and hang them to dry and they're dry by morning when I pack his lunch. We'll probably be adding a few more soon. These bags are so convenient for so many things. And it's one step closer for me to stop using and buying plastic bags. I chose these snack bags with zippers over other brands with velcro closures because I hate velcro, and I wanted a more stable closure.

I'm honestly in my early 20's and I'm trying to lose weight. Part of that includes avoiding the bad stuff when you're hungry and on the go. I pack this with healthy fruit/granola bars, peanuts, a baggy of baby carrots or grape tomatoes. I keep it in my purse and carry it on me at all times. I can only imagine the uses a parent would get out of this. I highly recommend. It's so cute!

I buy these all the time because I keep finding more uses for them. From my own personal stuff to food, the possibilities seem to be endless. I wash these every other day since the initial purchase and I haven’t had a single one fall apart. I will not buy another brand

These are good little bags for school snacks and the characters mean children remember to bring them home to be washed and reused the next day.

I purchased all 3 bags of each Bumkins Wonder Women, Superman and Nintendo. I was very excited to be having reusable bags that the kids would enjoy and are dishwasher safe (top-rack). I was VERY dissappointed, after spending this money that the product does not keep it's smells and flavors contained. Pepperoni and cheese were in one small snack pack, a sliced apple in the other small snack pack and a PB and J sandwich in the sandwich pack....and the apples taste like pepperoni/cheese/PB+J, and sandwich has a very distinct pepperoni flavor with a hint of apple, etc etc. So a great idea in theory but unless you want all your food flavors melding together, not a great purchase. Very upset about this.

Bought these because wanted the reusable bag and love Disney. They are easy to use, thin and I just turn them inside out and throw them in with our laundry when we come home. Hang up to dry and they're good to use the next day. Love them. They are not leak proof so only good for dry foods like crackers, chips types of snacks. If you put in washed snacks like grapes, the water will seep thru, any berries will squish and the juice will go thru. I made the mistake of putting crackers in the nite before and my son said they tasted stale the next lunch. They do not seal like a ziploc bag. But, for packing little snacks in the morning for lunch, they are great. These are smaller bags that I thought and once I put the snacks in and the bag puffs out, you can't put much in. Great for smaller children's snacks, or if you just want a little bit. I put a granola bar in without the wrapper to test it. Yes chocolate got on the inside, but it did wash out easily that evening. I wish the Mickey's weren't upside down on the bags!!

These aren't good for food in my experience. They're good for receipts, medications, pens even. Not food. Everything was stale by lunch time, they leak. Just bad. Cute pattern but not practical by any means. I'm sorry I wasted my money purchasing not 1 but 2 of these things- I didn't realize it's an actual ZIPPER across the top of the bag. I guess I thought it was a "zipper closure" somewhat like the ziploc zipper bags.. nooo. I can't put anything in these unless I'll be eating it in 10 minutes. They're good for portioning out chips that you'll be eating immediately I guess..

My preschool aged child struggled with opening/closing the one-time use kind of baggies, so these are a great alternative to send to school for the first year or two. An added bonus is that it's great for the environment and saves money. They're very easy to clean. I put mostly dry snacks in mine, but I've put cut up fruit in there and it hasn't leaked any juices. I clean mine by the end of the day and after a year of use almost every day they don't smell. Other than some minor staining they're in perfect condition still as well.
