There are about 3,000 1.0mm steel beads and there is one brass bead in there to demonstrate the randomness of one outcome. Yes, they will be attracted to a magnet.

Q: Is this a real product? The "in stock" date has been moved back at least five times that I have seen. Always seems to be in stock two weeks from now.

Yes, it is real. We just can’t keep them in stock. They sell right away. In the next week we should have plenty of inventory. Thanks for your interest.

Q: Can you move the funnel on the top to demonstrate tampering with a system?

The funnel and board are molded out of one piece of plastic. You cannot modify the funnel without substantial cutting and reconstruction. I suggest you make your own version if you want to demonstrate a different type of probability model.

Q: What is the total height of the product? I only see the package height listed.

It's about 8 inches. There's a pic there where the box is right next to the actual Galton board; there's something like an inch at the bottom and the top (even less than that) between the top and bottom of the box and the product as it's fitted inside.
