I was on the lookout for a very specific watch: navy and white, sparkly, includes a second hand, indicators of the hours in some way, and the hour and minute hands needed to be visible from the background. My new watch needed to be waterproof, with a band that didn't have stitching on it where the threads would eventually wear and break. It should have quality engineering, including the movement and glass. This watch delivered on that and more! The deployment buckle is a fantastic addition! I am so in love with this type of fastener that I don't ever want to go back to the regular buckle. The crushed blue crystal reminds me of the cosmos and the ripples of blue bands edging the face is like the curtains of time being pulled back to reveal timelessness. The topaz and gems surrounding the watch just make this watch an incredible sophisticated piece to wear formally or casually. The silky leather band is the nicest and most comfortable band I have ever worn.Perhaps one of the best features of this watch for me (I say perhaps because they are all equal really) is that I have a sensitivity to the EMF (electromagnetic frequency) of watches and have not been able to wear them for decades. The mechanism of the movement on my skin makes my wrist and hand tingly and ache. I decided to try again and I have no problem wearing this watch. Recently, I broke it after enjoying this every day for a year. I accidentally dropped it from a high shelf onto a tile floor and it stripped the threads of the watch. The first time around the glass survived, but I had hoped the screws would hold and tried to wear it again and after a day it detached from the case and fell onto tile again, severely cracking the glass. I was such a fan of this, my first, Porsamo Bleu watch, that I wanted to replace it. Yet in all my research no one had any stock available of this exact watch, including PB. So, in my disappointment I looked elsewhere and purchased an expensive watch from another brand. While it was beautiful, I instantly missed the deployment buckle. The main problem though, was that within three minutes of putting the watch on, I had to take it off the EMF hurt too much. That did it. I reached out to Porsamo Bleu and asked if they would be willing to repair my watch, even though I mishandled it, and knew it would not be covered under my two year warranty.Porsamo Bleu's customer service was excellent! They immediately wrote me back and gave me a repair number. They were very professional and kind about helping me out. They told me they would let me know when they received the package, evaluate the damage and give me an estimate, and then I could decide whether I wanted them to repair it or if I would rather purchase a new watch. Every step of the process they were there. They were true to their word telling me they got my package and sent it to the service department. Two days later, instead of telling me the estimate for the cost of the repair, they told me they shipped it back out to me completely repaired! They fixed it for FREE! They not only reattached the case to the backplate and gave me new screws and faceplate, they also gave me a new band! (The other one was looking slightly discolored.) They sent my watch back in a new blue keepsake box and told me this was a one time courtesy repair. I was a fan before this because of experiencing the best watch I have ever owned, but this stunned me and now I am more a fan than ever.Porsamo Bleu is a wonderful company that makes very high quality watches that are not only beautiful but also practical and efficient. Their customer service is top notch, and I will definitely be a repeat customer!
